very informative, well explained
This is a very useful and informative book with emphasis on core training and strengthening, The exercises are clearly explained, both written and via photographs and are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced BOSU users. There is a brief introduction to the BOSU, followed by clear explanations on getting started, moving on and off the BOSU; which muscle groups are involved; exercises with and without weights and a cardio section which really gets the heart pumping and those muscles working. There are basic as well as advanced versions of all exercises and an index of exercises for each area of the body. Well worth buying.

Must have Book
This is perfect if new to the Bosu. Easy to follow with fantastic diagrams and great workouts. I was very impressed and meant I could start staight away. Would highly recommend.

Deceptively good
I'm glad that I bought this on-line from Amazon, as in a bookshop my arrogance would have meant that would have put it back on the shelf as being too easy. Let me explain: it's been three years since I regularly attended an intermediate Pilates class. Since then I've been working on major muscles groups and I could hold a push-up plank for about 4 minutes with my hands on an upturned BOSU and my feet on a fit ball, hence the arrogance. I'd forgotten about the importance of the deep stabilising muscles until I tried some of the exercises in this book and, that I rarely engage my abbs and glutes. At that point I realised how good this book is. Two of the three authors are Pilates instructors and it shows. Detailed instructions alongside monochrome photos explain each of the exercises. Recommended reading whether or not you do Pilates. If you would like a BOSU but think that they're expensive, have a look at OK! Famouslyfit Core Workout Dome

Ok but not as visually as clear as I would have expected
The book is full of exercises, but to me is very cheaply produced and had it been in colour, it would be much easier to follow whilst exercising.

sono davvero contenta di aver comprato e di seguire le istruzioni di questo libro e anche il mio osteopata mi suggerisce di continuare questi esercizi. L'ho comprato senza suo suggerimento! ++++++++

Great BOSU Instructional Book
I am in the process of becoming a Pilates instructor. I’m so grateful for this very thorough instruction book on the BOSU. I didn’t receive any manual on the BOSU, so this goes perfectly in my Pilates library! I can’t wait to put my practice from this book into the classroom. Plus it’s helping me with balance and tone.

Bon complément au livret fourni avec le ballon, il manque des schémas afin d'indiquer , pour chaque exercice, les muscles qui travaillent. Quant aux nombres de série proposées, c'est plutôt pour débutant.

Have go a lot of exercises and other people also I leave it at the gym for others to use excellent balance for beginners to immediate then great exercises
