I have thre rifles, a Gamo whisper sting, an FAC Weirauch 80K, both of which being break barrel rifles are not really suited to fittinga bipod, on the other hand, this rest, with its v shaped pillow is ideal. My other rifle is an S400, soon to be replaced with a BSA CLX. I don’t like bipods in use or to fit and therefore this rest suits me for bench or ground when in the prone position. Firing the Gamo is fairly straightforward, but the Weirauch at 18+ft lbs is a different rifle altogether and whilst it’s weight helps control the power this rest is a fantastic aid to support a powerful “springer”. Build quality is excellent, the aluminium tripod legs when opened offer a degree of resistance, but more importantly offer a very steady, indeed rigid, rest. The pillow itself is well filled and whilst I tend not to use the velcro fastening for the "springer" I do for the PCP and it holds the stock and barrel nicely. I particularly like the single handed height adjuster, which is smooth, but when the adjuster ring is dropped into place holds the gun firmly locked and exactly where you set it.
