Review: good book, with a great title - I purchased this book with a chess set for my ten year old nephew. It seems to be the ideal book for teaching chess. I like the way it is taught with good clear text and pictures....One of the reasons that I chose this book above all the other beginner chess books on desertcart is that it is called ''starting chess'' as opposed to ''children's chess'' or a child's chess book'' which so many seem to be called and which I don't think my nephew would have liked. Just because of the ''child'' in the title...It doesn't matter how great the book is he would have turned his nose up at it, just because of the title..
