The idea is to get the object saturated with the impregnated solution. Then after a couple of minutes buff it off with a dry cloth. It's a lot less messy than using the Brasso liquid polish. **Q: Will this work on the front door window of my house?** A: This is not a product for windows/glass. This is for copper and brass. **Q: Is brasso wadding abrasive?** A: Very mildly, nothing like autosol or T-cut.
