Don't buy. Great product that does what it should. It's a nice and necessary adapter to have. But seriously, Apple what is up with you? As an Apple user since '06 I've always loved the simplicity and intuitiveness of their products. But now, I have to shell out $10 for this one adapter, which takes your beautiful iPhone that now needs a long dangle hanging out because you had to pull a really stupid move by only creating one port that I and the rest of the world regularly uses two simultaneously. I often charge and use headphones, so I guess I have to always remember that whenever I need to do that now I have to carry this accessory around. My disdain is growing...you're getting greedy, and if something better comes along I'm ready to bail on you. (And I won't pay over 3 figures for a phone, which is why I bought a used "7" and now needed to buy this adapter) Maybe this isn't the right place for a comment like this, after all, this is a review about this adapter, which is fine by the way. And Apple probably won't ever see this comment or care. But if you feel like me vote this comment up and let's make some noise. Review: DO NOT BUY - Incompatible with iOS 10.2 or Higher - All of the reviews on this product are absolutely false. As of iOS 10.2.1 come to find out, Apple has built-in compliance checking features that render the majority of 3rd party cables and accessories useless. This product DOES NOT WORK on iOS 10.2+ These should not be sold on desertcart, they are non-compliant and falsely advertise features that they do not have.
