Cramer repStick Alpine White - Tub, Sink & Tile Touch-up Paint

A year ago we had a plumber repairing a leaking toilet cistern in the bathroom and he put all his metal tools in the bath while he was working. Later we noticed that where his wrenches and spanners had been there were six or seven areas where the surface of the bath had been scraped, plus several scratches and chips all around the plughole area. This looked unsightly, but we didn't want to have the whole bath resurfaced or even a new bath because of a few scrapes. Then I found this product! It comes in a Tippex-like container and has its own brush. You simply shake it for 2 minutes and then paint it on the damaged areas. Several thin layers are best and it is easy to get just a small amount on the brush and dab it on where necessary. I found a good way to fill deeper chips is to dab a good blob of the paint on so that it fills the hole and then immediately wipe the excess off with some toilet paper. Although it looks a brilliant white when it is first put on, it darkens slightly as it dries so that you don't notice that it is there. The only downside is that you have to wait 4 days for it to really harden before putting hot water in the bath, but 4 days wait is better than buying a new bath. I was so pleased with the result that I put some on a cracked tile in our shower room and the crack is no longer noticeable, and I have also put some on a radiator where there was a small area of rust - which was easier than painting the whole radiator. There is a lot of the product and as you only use a very tiny amount at a time, it should last a long time (as long as the cap is screwed on tightly) should any future damage occur.

Good product but requires care when using. The fluid is very runny, so beware of excess fluid running down the brush STEM when you think you've only got a bit on the brush head itself. This happened to me as I was carefully filling in the chip with the brush head and resulted in a blob on the bath that is difficult to get off. Recommend trying to scrape off fluid from the brush stem on the bottle neck before applying a VERY small amount to the chip from the end of the brush head. Plenty in the bottle, so try on another surface to practice. You need a practice to avoid a blob or over-application - there's always more on the brush/stem than you think!Applied 3 thin layers to the chip and now it's virtually invisible, so well pleased with the product, and now I'll know how to avoid blobs next time!

Ready to use, easy to use

a nice product was able to repair the chip in my shower tray there is a slight shade difference but a lot cheaper then buying a new tray.The main down side is that all the instruction are in German!!! so had to go on a translation site to find out how to use it

This is very easy to use. I was a little unsure as to whether it would be adequate for my repair job but I applied 5 thin layers and it has given a much better result than a more expensive product I have used in the past. It is interesting to note that on the repair around the plug hole the colour is a pretty good match and I am very pleased with it but on the lesser damaged repair by the taps the colour has not matched in very well at all! But overall for the cost and ease of use this is a very good product

Used this to fill a couple of fairly large scratches in the shower tray. Took several coats to cover the damage. The colour isn't quite the same colour as the shower tray but it's done the job. It's been a month since the repair and there has been no change to it, so all in all a pretty good solution. Can also be used to touch up scratches on cookers and washing machines etc.

Very bright white in colour so getting a perfect match could be a problem, but i only notice mine with a very close up look. Application was just the same as car touch up paint, use the in built brush and build up thickness one coat at a time. My bath (fibreglass) had lots of chips and scratches and these have been covered up and now at a glance looks a lot better. Very pleased. At this price for a small pot its quite expensive, but i suppose you use so little it will last a few times.

The wear on my shower tray was barely noticeable until I used this product, now all the areas I retouched look grey. I saw this once before when staying at what must have been a cheap hotel. I'm very unhappy to have made a bad situation worse by using this product.

... wie beschrieben. Ich habe die Farbpalette dem Farbdrucker gegeben. Damit habe ich anhand der Badewanne, mit visueller Beratung durch mein privates Finanzministerium, den vermeintlich richtigen Farbton ausgesucht. Dann gem. Bedienungsanleitung den etwa 1,5 mm "großen" Einschlag bearbeitet. Dann wegen der Trockenzeit vier Tage in den Urlaub gefahren. Was soll ich sagen ... wenn ich jetzt in die Wanne schaue, sehe ich den Fleck auf Anhieb nicht. Nicht mal beim näher heranzoomen via Hüftbeugung. Und jahaaa, die Wanne ist frisch geputzt ...
