Catan Studios CN3142 Struggle for Catan

I love playing Catan but don’t get much opportunity as it requires 3+ players. This is a satisfying and fun alternative to play as 2 players. It is also portable and convenient to take on holiday. A great addition to the Catan range.

We are big catan board game fans so thought this would be great travel version. Its a bit different confusing to start and does need to be spread out on big table but its good . Takes us about an hour to play so hoping we speed up as we get used to it.

It's a very fun. Useful for a quick game or substitute for the original.

Awesome take on the game if you don't want to setup the entire board. Nice use of alternative mechanics make this both worth buying as a replacement for travelling purposes or as a serperate game altogether. Great little item!

Very good quicker and simpler alternative to the classic catan game. Works well for two people.

This game is best with 3+ players. Nit a 2 player game unless you make house rules and stop the loop of taking roads and knight’s. Otherwise ok.

its a great alternative to the board game. id still say the board game is more fun but this is great when you only have 2 players or when travelling!

This card has been requested by an immediate member of my family. So I have no personal knowledge of the game, but as it has been requested by a serious games player I must take it that it is a good game to play.

No te detiene el idioma. Se puede comprar sin problema ya que la versión en español está fuera de mercado ahorita. Las reglas están en internet. Es más fácil de preparar que el Catan de tablero y las partidas son más rápidas. Excelente juego.

Easy and quick to learn. Never played the board game (seems this has a similar gameplay but with cards). It plays with a good level of competion amongst friends, so would recommend as an addition to other card games.

This game is great! It is quick, fun, and challenging. It’s the perfect size to keep in my purse and pull out randomly when you have a half hour to burn. We played it with 4 people and with 2 people both were fun. I purchased a second deck so we can play with up to 8 people =) It looks like there are a bunch of different versions of the full Catan game, they look really cool and I wish they had different versions for this quick card version. I could play games all day but those playing with me seem more willing to play more short games here and there than play the other long version. My other favorite game kind of similar (a quick version of a larger game that is fun but challenging enough for 30 year olds) is Monopoly Deal. Same thing; to play more than 4 people you buy a second deck. Check it out! My friends who have played Catan liked this version and those of us playing for the first time did as well. I definitely recommend this game for your collection.
