Max Factor False Lash Effect Clump Defy Volumising Mascara, Black, 1 x 13.1 ml

I love this mascara and have used it for years. Now I use the Amazon subscription to get it at the unbeatable price offered. It is the perfect all-around mascara, as it defines, curls and gives volume without clumping, as well as being jet black. A simple coat is great for low key looks and more coats give a dramatic lash effect. The brush shape and bristles are really handily for coating all lashes and reaching the tricky corner ones and well as separating them. The mascara stays put and doesn't flake over the course of the day. I find it's easy to remove with any preferred way of cleansing- micellar water, lotion cleanser and water, or using the hot cloth cleansing method. I have sensitive eyes and have not had any irritation from using this mascara. I hope Max Factor doesn't discontinue it any time soon.

Most Definately the Best mascara I have found...I have been looking for a long time for a truly waterproof mascara that does exactly what it says and this is the only one that has lived up to its claims! I find it is extremely waterproof yet not difficult to remove, easy enough with a good make up remover and cotton wool. It coats every lash to the tip, NO CLUMPS(!), does not flake off or smudge, even when I fall asleep with it on its mostly in place in the morning(!) The brush is nicely curved and gets all the corner lashes. I dont often do reviews so I really am pleased with this product.

Very nice mascara, the packaging/bottle ensures that there are no clumps and it feels very lightweight on the eyes. However, it does have a strange smell, almost like plastic - not sure if this is just my product affected or if I got a bad batch.

This is hands down my favourite mascara ever! I’ve gone through pretty much all of them but when I bought this I haven’t changed for 2 years. The perfect blend of lengthening and thickening without clumps. I usually do 2 layers for everyday and 3/4 for nights out and my eyelashes are short but I get so many compliments when I’m wearing this! I also don’t even have to curl my lashes for it to look great. Easy to take off and stays pretty much all day

I used to buy this a few years ago & it was great and came in a cellophane wrap. It was around £1 more back then which is nothing to be protected. I stopped using in when my eyes began to itch like crazy & switched to another brand. I then purchased one from Boots which was fine and lasted some time. Because it’s pretty much half price on amazon compared to beauty stores I thought I’d try it again. First week was ok, second week it began to dry out and my eyes were itching & bloodshot. Definitely not real/as good as it was a few years ago. Don’t purchase & buy in store, it’s worth extra few pounds.

This applies easily and doesn’t clump, as long as you let it dry before another coat. Less harsh than black for more mature ladies. I’m happy to recommend this.

My most favourite mascara ever! I'm one of those people who can't face the world without mascara on. Over the years I have tried just about every brand imaginable but always go back to this one and then wonder why I bothered with the others! Love it. I have quite long lashes but very fair and I love the way this one really doesn't clump. At the end of the day there are never any flakes but not ridiculously difficult to remove. I have extremely sensitive eyes so this is very important to me. Excellent!

Easy to apply, the wand is good - does the job- howver nothing special. Would buy again- because of the price.

ESTUPENDA!!!!!!!! No puedo decir otra cosa más que es una máscara 10. Tiene un gupillón curvo y, al sacarlo del tubo, notas que hay un momento en que el tubo se estrecha, lo cual hace que no se quede mucho producto en el gupillón. Me deja unas pestañas preciosas y no se me cae a lo largo del día. Es cierto que alguna motita de máscara se me cae en la zona de la ojera, pero nada que no se pueda arreglar. Yo me la volveré a comprar una y otra y otra vez!

Meine Wimpern ist kompliziert zu tuschen. Habe eine Menge von verschiedenen Mascaras ausprobiert, die Produkte von Max Factor fand ich immer gut. Leider sind sie alle aus dem Sortiment überall verschwunden, habe in den Drogerien, bei Douglas, Müller etc, gesucht - vergeblich. Diese Mascara hatte ich noch nicht, wollte mal probieren. Ich sage es von mir persönlich - super, das beste, was je verwendet habe!!! Die Bürste, ihre Form ist super bequem und dadurch lässt sich die Tusche wunderbar auftragen, macht die Wimpern länger , schön aufgeteilt, und schafft ein natürliches Volum. Es ist für jeden persönliche Sache, aber für mich steht es eindeutig fest: ich werde nur auf dieses Produkt zugreifen, kein anderes kommt in Frage. Wenn es eben im Handel nicht mehr gibt, muss ich hier immer wieder bestellen. Viel Glück, wem sie passt! VG Katja
