JETech Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (1st and 2nd Generation, 2015 and 2017 Model), Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

This case is excellent. I ordered it for my hubby’s 2015 iPad Pro and it’s a perfect fit. He had the original apple case ( which they no longer make) and it had completely fallen apart. This was the closest one I could find to the original and other than the fact that the front sleeve isn’t removable it’s a pretty good match. The cut out sections are all in the right place and the back shell fits snugly. It’s very easy to fit your iPad into position. This case fits the 2015 and 2017 models only so be careful before you order or it won’t fit your model. The front sleeve is foldable so you can create a leaning shelf which keeps your iPad stable. It also has a wake/sleep function. The colour is an exact match to the original apple case so looks good. Price wise it feels decent value for money. I’d definitely recommend this case for anyone with an older iPad Pro. It offers good protection and looks smart.

iPad pro case in black. Price: Awesome product for such a low price point. Fit: It fits the device perfectly and protects the device as expected. Heft: The item is light and slim so it does not add a lot of weight or bulk. Look: it does take away from the beautiful look of your iPad, however, this cannot really be avoided unless there is a clear version which I cannot imagine with these materials. Feel: it feels nice in your hands with enough grip so as not to slip. I am assuming it's made of some forms of plastic, however, it does lot feel hard or rough as some other cases do. Design: the triangular role of the front cover forming a stand is not my favourite design for a case, I do prefer a the back leg style where I can creat the angle with a hinge tyoe leg, although, it seems this is now the design type of choice and the one I see most often. And it does the job of holding the iPad when in landscape mode and on a even surface. JETech: I have a few JETech items now and they are fast becoming a go to company for me. Based on the other items of theirs that I have I now have a lot of faith in knowing the item will be of good quality and at a very good price. Overall: excellent item for the price. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do.

Received iPad pro case within 2 days of ordering. Very prompt delivery by Amazon. First impression of the case: > Material used is quite nice to the touch, rubbery matt outer surface with inner fiber material for lid/cover. > iPad pro fits snugly into the case and is held securely. > Magnetic sleep/wake works perfectly and strong enough to allow iPad pro to stand up without falling. > Folded lid gives a nice 15% angle for typing and overall usage of iPad. > Cut outs for buttons, audio jack, mic holes, lightning port in correct place however cut outs for the speakers are slightly covered on top edge. (Have tested playing music and videos with and without the case and there's no discernible volume decrease.) > Lid closes properly and magnet holds it in place. After using iPad without a case for several weeks, with the added weight of the case, the iPad does feel heavier to use with one hand. However naturally using the device on lap or a desk, this is not so much of a problem and is a sacrifice I can live with. Overall very nice case for the price paid. Only real criticism I can give it is the speaker cut outs. See images. Will see how long the case lasts.

I’ve read a lot of reviews about this product, both positive & negative. I’m going to be honest, this case is very similar to the 4th gen iPad covers. smart covers. I previously owned a smart case from Apple which I used on a 4th gen iPad. The difference between them (other than a logo) is that this has a hard back and not a soft leather back. This is a good thing, in my experience this tends to be the area of wear and tare. I ended up repairing that case and eventually replacing it, as the material became worn and split. The texture/grip is excellent, the iPad doesn’t want to slip out of your hands or move on a flat surface when typing or drawing. I’ve read some reviews saying it’s not like the official case and that’s correct. The ones that are sold by Apple which retail between £59 to £79 (€67 to €90) only cover the front of the screen and connect to the magnetic contacts on the side. So the back of your iPad is not protected. That’s a lot of money for what basically is a screen protector. I wouldn’t like to drop my iPad with this case however that’s the trade off for such a slim case. However I don’t take mine out of the house so it’s not a concern to me or every will be. It’s priced right, good material, slim and light. Plus a life time warranty if you register within 14days.

I got this case as I wasn't sure what to get when I first bought my iPad Pro 12.9". I didn't want to pay over £100 for the apple version either. So I ordered this one and I think it's really good, I have had it for 3/4 of a year now and it is still looking almost new. In the first few weeks from taking the case on and off it scared me because of the sound that it was making rubbing on my iPad, but it hasn't damaged it at all, but taking it on and off, some of the weaker plastic pieces have broken such as next to the volume rockers and lock button. The fit on the iPad to begin with wasn't great but it held well and now it fits perfectly. Also at times it can be hard to access the volume rockers because of the plastic surroundings. For the price and how quickly it was delivered I think it's a really good product, just shame about the durability in places.
