Gorilla make some of the very best duct tape that I've ever used. Firstly I should point out that this is duct tape rather than gaffer tape - the two are often confused with each other so if you aren't aware of the difference then the later is designed to be cleanly removed and is the stuff you'll find every musician or roadie in the country has, where as duct tape is what you' use for repairs etc. This means it will leave some glue residue when removed but you can clean it off. This roll is similar in size to a standard roll of sellotape etc, so much thinner than you'd normally get (I've shown a pound coin in my photos for comparison). This means it is great for your toolbox for jobs around the house, where you don't necessarily need it to be too wide. Gorilla tape is much better than generic duct tape you might find (they claim the adhesive layer is twice as thick as other brands) which means it does a great job of sticking to uneven surfaces, and it's weatherproof too so is fine for repairs outside the house etc. It's easily the strongest and best of it's kind that' I've used. I've used Gorilla tape for loads of jobs, including plenty were you wouldn't expect it to work. It's got me out of trouble on motorways fixing part of the trim that had rattled loose, stopped a leaking bay window roof on the outside of out house until it was properly fixed, patched up the inside of a coat for several months until I could finally get it repaired, and been used for countless other tasks around the home and our garden. Anything you think you can use a roll of super-strong, weatherproof tape on,. It's not the biggest roll, but that's the point - I keep this in additional to a standard roll as this is supposed to be handy for those smaller jobs where you don't need a massive amount. Extremely Strong and Durable roll of Black Gorilla Tape. The roll is 25mm wide by 9m long. It has three layers. Outer is waterproof. Middle is highly durable. Bottom is the double thick adhesive. This is the tape to do DIY tasks, repairs, patching things, and tape around grips of things. Very easy to use. I apply with tension for best adhesion. The Black matt surface gives a good grip for hands when wrapped around shovel handle that is split. It holds the split together and gives extra grip on my shovel. The black stays on tape and not on hands. Excellent value bind things together. I do not find the appearance to be sticky or tacky when using it on hand grip areas. When wrapped well and evenly, it even makes garden tools, etc look as if it came with the tape. It can be used to mark things for high visibility. A strip along the seam of garden shed roof has made it fully waterproof and looks smart.
