I have very long 2b/2c hair and once I've used this on refresh days / greasy days, this has really helped keep my volume. Dry shampoo just doesn't hit the same. I haven't noticed a smell when using it. You do need to wash your hands after handling it as it gets instantly sticky to initially apply but once rubbed in you dont notice. It doesn't make my hair darker or matte it just fades in perfectly and no white residue. I would say it lasts all day even with other curly products in.
