It is quite expensive but you really do get what you pay for with hoses, I have had other brands that didn't last and had leakage issues. Is it much bulkier/heavier on wall though, can anyone provide dimensions? thank you** A: If you intend to use the hose for both front and back gardens / driveway from one water tap then the 40m hose is ideal - giving you ample hose to do the job. I found the equipment provided just fine - my best advice is to buy an extended posi-drive screwdriver as the bracket screw heads are difficult to obtain a square on position with a shorter screwdriver. The screws provided did the job as long as you take it easy and ensure you are fully square on to the screw and have the right screwdriver head so you don't round off the screw head. the dimensions are - when on the wall - approx. 70-cm wide and 30 cm's deep. The hose swings 180 degrees from its bracket so you will need a full 150cm to allow for the full swing. My other advice is to coax the hose when realing back in - just make sure the hose is smoothly returning into the wall mounted reel - although the mechanism works well I want to protect the mechanism from rapid and sharp rewinds to hopefully ensure a longer life. **Q: Can I use it when folded against wall? And does the hose pull/retract smoothly at right angles to the optimal angle - e.g. around a corner?** A: Yes Peter you can use it when folded against a wall. We have ours at the back of the house, and it goes around the corner. On the corner we have a corner fitting that the hosepipe fits through and this prevents it from rubbing on the wall and damaging the hosepipe. The two things together work really well, and just one tug and it all winds itself back in so it's worth getting a corner thingy too. **Q: How soon can you deliver** A: We send these via Parcel Force 48, which is 2-3 business days. **Q: can it be used with a retengular sprinkler?** A: With a rectangular sprinkler... yes. Can't see any reason why it couldn't be used with any sprinkler. Use 80mm hammer screws. Why the 85cm height limit? I see no purpose there, for it no explanation either.
