It is true multi material. I accidently cut through one of the rear aluminium guides on my chopsaw and didn't notice. That shows how sharp it is. This is my second one, the first one was used to cut a LOT of laminate floorboards.

I’ve have the evolution mitre saw for a long time. It’s done a lot of jobs. I got a this new blade to build a garden room during lockdown 2. This one blade did the entire project. It was a big room and it’s cut every joist, UPVC, Metal and composite cladding material I’ve used... and is only just getting blunt - so impressed ... and why I decided to review. Basically, value for money wise it’s excellent if your doing a project with multiple materials. Cuts wise it never misses a beat... accurate as your calibration of the saw itself. It’s worth watching a tutorial and using a mitre saw properly to. Despite using it for ages, I watched one and it did have some great tips. If you do the blade lasts even longer. Anyway - a great blade.

These blades are good and last a fair amount of time ( depending on usage of course ). Had mine for a couple of years and just had to replace it. That's what happen when you use it for everything... Would recommend but would also recommend buying specific blades also ( wood,metal or other ) as cutting everything with just one blade will wear it down much quicker. I have used it for wood , including wood infested with nails, and it did the job absolutely fine. Very good blade.

I use 'raw' timber from a tree-surgeon and you can never be sure that there aren't bits of nail or even barbed wire hidden in the wood.. with a wood only blade this would be a disaster but these multi material blades just cut straight through, you don't even notice most of the time. Good clean cuts, and last a very long time.

I have used these before Japanese blade but wont last forever they do loose the teeth after a lot of cutting . Good price cheaper than other stores ..
