It has very simple explanations and pictures on how things work. I know quite a bit about living in the woods but you can always learn new stuff right. Plenty of interesting ideas that you would not think of. The book itself is made of some kind of coated paper that can withstand all kinds of abuse. The corners of the book even have metal covers on them. I opted for the print copy so in case the SHTF this will always be there. I love my kindle but eventually the battery will wear down.
