Vertical Bar Clamps

I was not expecting these to be so darn good!! Seriously, well made, easy to mount, and very easy to adjust. The stability is really great and I have zero concerns about my lightbar moving.

took a bit, lost the bolts and nuts. matching up the inserts to match the bar. Seam heavy duty, will know how well they clamp after i get the light bar installed and run through the woods to see if there are any issues.

These were purchased to mount a license plate on the roll cage of my SXS. They are perfect to mount the plate up high and out of the way. The included rubber isolators prevent these from moving on the bar and fit nicely. After multiple rides they have stayed in place firmly and a made very sturdy. They look great installed and are priced right.

These brackets did not work for the application in which they were ordered. My intention was to use them to install auxiliary lights on the front bar of my CF moto sxs. The clamps will fit around the bar ok but the problem was it is impossible to install or tighten the screws. This has to be done from the back side of the bracket which in my opinion is a poor design. If anyone is putting this bracket on a bumper, there is naturally going to be some type of obstruction on the backside of it. It would work great on a rollcage where there's room to get an allen wrench back there but not on a bumper. Good quality, nice adapters, but needs some other mounting options.

I had to come up with my own solution on how to mount a heavy duty ARB awning on the ol' FJ. I came across these while researching mounting solutions on one of the FJC forums. These couldn't be all bad for the relatively cheap price they were going for. I needed at least three mounts, but they came in packages of 2 so I had to buy 2 separate packages, no big deal. I received my mounts and they came with 4 different options for mounting to pretty much any size round bar or roof rack. All materials seemed pretty heavy duty and went together with no issues whatsoever. I mounted the 3 I needed for my awning and after much measuring and experimenting I had my 3 mounts made for the awning and 'bam', my awning was up and ready to rock. I unpacked the awning once to see how it was all gonna work out and that's the pic I took on this review. The awning has now been mounted for about 3 weeks and has not moved or come loose. The mounts are holding up fantastic so far and I am sure they will hold up fine in the coming months as well. The biggest test for these mounts will be how they withstand the Arizona heat in the summer. If there is any issue, I will update this review. For now, I can only say that these are good mounts and really good for the money! I don't think you'll regret buying these for your roof rack needs. I'm thinking about buying a few more for my shovel and axe mounts next.

These mounts are made of solid metal and have quite a bit of weight to them. My purpose was to mount a license plate bracket to 3/4" square tube which I reasoned would require approx 1" diameter mounts. The reviews noting that the mounts don't fit snug on 1" round bar had me concerned but I ordered them anyway. After applying the smallest diameter rubber adapters and cranking down the allen screws (nice touch) as far as possible the mounts were snug but NOT snug enough on the bars to keep them from rotating due to wind force. My solution was to cut a piece of old serpentine belt (approx 1-1/2" in length) and insert it into the rubber adapter on the top side of the mount prior to compressing the mount around the bar. This resulted in a very snug mount when everything was tightened down completely. I probably would have used a piece of belt on both sides of the mount were I mounting something heavier like a light, and am confident the grip would be more than substantial in this case. I feel these mounts are fantastic for the price and I'm comfortable that the serpentine belt fix will not degrade over time which means I will utilize these products and this method again in the event that I need to mount to a smaller tube or bar.

Broke way to easily!! Absolute junk and waste of money ! The picture makes it look like it’s all one piece and it isn’t! Both brackets didn’t last 15 min on the side by side!! Complete garbage
