When I was a mechanic at the Dodge dealership in the 80's we all used what we called a whip on our air tools. Back then, they were a smaller diameter and very flexible. No fighting it or the main hose. In looking for one today, it seems they are just a short section of regular hose. Flexzilla seems the best I can find.
