I Thought about getting one of those power/rca box things which are more expensive but then I just decided to search for a nice 3-way headphone splitter instead This is a simple and working solution The only 'downside' to this adapter is the 3.5mm connector surrounding, it's massive. when using more then 2 cables on either side of this adapter connector(on the xonar dgx sound card) I'd have to use an extension before this cable, like IMBAPRICE headphone extension or something similar. those are thinner, it makes sense that this adapter has a thicker surround for the connector it does have 3 seperate stereo cables coming/going from it. 5 STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this to be able to combine multiple guests on my internet wine show 1337 Wine TV ([...]) using lavaliere mics. Before this I could only have one guest, but recently I've had more than one. While I also have a boom mic and boom mic stand to handle this, being able to have the mic on your talent is the best option. Everything worked perfectly. One thing I did learn is make sure you are using the same lavalieres. I have some from my Azden Wireless set up I've been using and there must be an impedance difference with those and the really cheap NEEWER lavalieres I bought at the same time I bought this. The initial test combining these mics completely failed. I bought 6 of the NEEWER mics since they were 2-packs and as long as I used all of them (I did 4 total since I also have a splitter) each mic was easily heard.

The sound quality is pretty good on these. My son uses these so several of his friends can listen to music at the same time - he actually has one of these plugged into another one so he has 5 total headphone ports, and says there's no sound degradation from doing that. My concern is a little more on the materials - while it LOOKS like they're built to support the wires from being pulled out of place, the wires themselves are soft and "mushy" and the wire covers at the connections have a little play in them. Honestly, though, at this price it's not much to complain about and as long as they last him a while he'll be very happy with them. -D

This item is great. It is the only adapter I could find that splits into three signals. I have a setup going where I need my computer, small television, and second computer all plugged into the same set of speakers. The speakers have 2 1/8 inch inputs, but I have a DJ system going into one for practicing. With this adapter, I have all 3 of my other items going into the one available 1/8 inch jack. The adapter automatically chooses one signal over another, and I never need to physically switch cables. It is very clean and nice. I have not noticed any reduction in sound quality, either. I would recommend this for cable clean freaks like me.

Works perfectly. I used this to connect my laptop to my old desktop speakers. I have full surround sound music again! After my desktop died and I got a new laptop, I missed the rich sound from my old 7-piece PC speaker system, and thought I could not have that luxury with my laptop. This device allowed me to plug my PC speaker system into the headphone jack of my laptop and viola, full rich music from my laptop!

So, I had some extra 5.1 surround sound speakers I wasn't using, and I needed a simple way to hook up a cheap MP3 player I had to them so that I could use these speakers in my garage workshop. This cable did the trick perfectly! Of course it is not surround sound, but I'm just playing music on them, not a game, so this was exactly what I needed to make everything work.

Update--I contacted the seller and they offered a refund. Thank you for good customer service. I am giving the product 3 stars because of their good customer service. I purchased this so that my kids could all listen to a movie on our iPad while going on a long road trip. We only ended up using it once. The second time we tried (spaced out by a couple of weeks), it no longer worked. I logged on today to return it, only to see that the return window was only 30 days. Is there no option to return a product that does not work after just over 30 days?
