    Very thin material doesn't seem too durable

While the size is adequate, it will fit folders, snow pants, some books, etc. the denim material is very thin. It was received new & already had a tear in it/outside pocket. I think if you live in a dry, arid climate it would be great. Where we live, it snows, rains & the material of the backpack gets saturated VERY quickly. There is a lining but the denim just soaks up any moisture. Seems also like anything with a sharp edge could jab your kid in the back. Not a fan of this bag.
