I am brand new to builder gel (well not anymore because I’ve been using this for a few months now but started as beginner) and I LOVE THIS STUFF. It’s incredibly easy to work with and is self leveling so it’s very forgiving with newbies. I’m a cosmetologist so I had minimal nail care training and I was able to get through it with a little patience and practice. You can use just one layer or you could do 3-4 thin layers if you prefer thicker nails. I prefer the natural polished look and this works great. It stays clear and doesn’t yellow under the curing lamp. I have yet to break a nail or have any lifting (just make sure you don’t get it on the cuticle). The consistency is much thicker than typical polish but goes on nice and smooth and it holds up so well. I haven’t had any chipping or anything like that either. It has almost no smell and overall easy to get the hang of it!

This builder gel is incredible! Very beginner friendly and great for professionals too. I use this for bonding my full cover gel nails and building them. Never have I experienced any lifting or unpleasant odors, no burning either. My gel nails last me 3-4 weeks and this product is a staple in my collection. There is a bit of a sticky residue after curing for 60 seconds but that is easily remedied by wiping with alcohol. This gel is self leveling and all I have to do is buff after application. This builder gel glides like silk onto your nails and looks so amazing that you hate to cover with polish. If you are looking for a quality product that is affordable and lasts nearly a month before needing to be filled, then you can’t go wrong in choosing this product.

This is the first time I’ve ever used builder gel and I LOVE IT. My nails aren’t strong, they never have been. Most recently I’ve been using poly gel to extend my nails. This time around, I really only needed an overlay. A friend suggested I find builder gel. I ordered this one and the next day I used it. WOW! So easy to use. The texture is like very thick gel polish. There’s a learning curve, but it’s easy to work with as long as you follow the instructions. It self levels, so it doesn’t end up streaky/with ridges. I got my bottle in the color clear and it is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I didn’t have any issues with bubbles. If i had just left the builder gel on, it would’ve looked nice on its own. Very shiny and neat. It hardens more than gel polish on its own which is perfect to protect and support my weak nails. There’s also very little smell. Overall, an amazing tool and much quicker to use than traditional nail strengthening/lengthening products. 5 for arriving as pictured/described - 0 (absolutely no notes) = 5 Stars

I wanted to start using builder gel to stop my nails from breaking, and this has really helped. It dries quickly under UV light, and as long as I am not too messy when I apply it, it stays on my nails for a long time.

Game changer in doing my nails at home. My nails are stronger and look so much better. There is a learning curve to using this but so worth it. Love this builder gel.

Consistency is stringy so product can end up where you don't want it. Have a HEMA-caused allergy so I need to use gloves with anything that cures via UV/LED. Gooey stringiness meant some product touched exposed skin & flared my allergy even though I was quick to get it off with rubbing alcohol. Easy to move gel on the prepped surface of press-ons to thicken them. Leveling was fine & tipping the nail upside down momentarily helps the shaping right before curing. Product durability is lacking if used on an unprepped press-on nail because movement makes it crack. Set I worked on I have to wait to wear because they're French & a few of my natural nails have bruises from an injury which would show through. Will update my review after I've had a chance to wear the set. Cures clear & looks as expected. Don't intend to buy again solely due to stringiness.
