You got hermit crab from New Hampshire at one of the boardwalk shops. Some of the crabs were small some of the crabs were big a lot of the crabs did not fit in the shells that they were sold in. We noticed ours was halfway out of the shell a lot so I had to quickly order different sizes as hermit crabs tend to pick what's comfortable for them so putting different sizes in the tank for them to choose is best in this product gave different sizes and we're still waiting for him to go to his next size up with some of the shells from this package. I like that it has different sizes small medium large it was exactly what a hermit crab would want. Different colors. There's no smell. The sturdiness was great was just like any other shell. The price was amazing since at a pet store you would be charged about $10 for just one shell. The appearance looks great no cracks no dings no holes perfect sizes for different size hermit crabs.

I ordered these shells for my hermit crabs. I liked that they had a variety of shells in different sizes since I have 5 crabs of all sizes. I got pretty much what what listed. One of the shells was obviously broken before it was packed. There were no pieces but you can tell it was not a whole shell. There were a couple that had small cracks. Overall the shells were a success. I put about 1/3 of them in my tank and one crab changed shells into a new one overnight the first night. Other than the 1 broken shell, they were pretty much what I expected. They did arrive when Amazon said they would. They were packed nicely in a box with paper shreddings to protect them. I didn't find any signs of breakage caused by shipping.

Couldn’t be happier with this shell collection. My hermit crab had so many options, she actually tried on 4 of them so far and it’s only been 3 days. So many sizes and shapes to choose from. Best option for the price.

This is my 2nd order. They are beautiful shells and exactly as described. My hermit crabs immediately moved in to them. The selection is amazing - small, med, lg and even an xl one. The shipping and packaging are wonderful- ordered last night and they came the next afternoon. The price is amazing too. Absolutely buy if you are looking for a beautiful selection of shells!

The shells are nice. The first time I got the delivery I only received 9 shells very loosely packaged and broken. Got a replacement the very next day but as I was going through them, one of them has a dead hermit crab inside. Very upsetting!! The shells are very pretty and has a variety of sizes but the dead hermit crab… disappointed in that aspect.

Unfortunately I won’t be buying these ever again. The shells were lovely, and surprisingly good fits for my smallest hermit crab. I was really happy with this purchase, until I turned a shell over to find a tiny claw poking out of a shell opening. There was a dead, or dried, hermit crab stuck in one of the shells that couldn’t be removed. There’s no smell to it, so I considered that it could be a molt, but its tucked so far up into the shell and won’t budge. Hermits come out of their shells to molt, and typically only tuck fully into their shells when they’re frightened or sleeping. My guess is that whoever collected these didn’t look closely enough to see the little crab inside.
