**Q: Wattage? Kind of important info to leave out....**
A: I push 125w PC through crossover in speakers I built with no trouble or distortion. The magnet is heavy enough to make it a strong driver. GRS does not list any kind of wattage ability or limits in the box they came in.

**Q: Hi guys. i have a energy e:xl-s8 8" 100 watts sub woofer and i need to replace the cone,but not sure winch one to use. any recommendation. thanks**
A: You need dual voice coil 4 or 8 ohm 8 inch driver. A "sub woofer" driver. They have longer cone excursion abilities than regular woofer drivers.

**Q: I need to replace a Bose 601 8" 4 ohm speaker, I don't know the specs of it but will this "subwoofer" substitute for it if it is a regular woofer?**
A: The 4-ohm version should work.  I replaced an 8" driver in an Infinity speaker, and it compares well (subtle differences) side-by-side with the other speaker.   May work but cannot assure the quality will match the existing speaker.

**Q: what is the measurement across the front of speaker or top of speaker.**
A: Diameter is 8 1/4th inches from top of basket top edge to edge.
