I have a small home and kitchen (no dishwasher) with limited counter space. After getting this mat I was inspired to recycle the metal rack and just leave the mat on the counter. It frees up the space and looks clutter-free next to the sink. I do recommend laying a dishtowel on the mat for air-drying purposes, as it dries better. I have also used my fabric drying mats on top of it which also work well. It is easy to clean and roll up and tuck away when I entertain. Note: When I first took it out of the package it did not lay flay, over time it settled down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Serves it's purpose as a compliment to the dishwasher while looking nice on the countertop *by S***0 on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2018* Nice size. Looks good on the countertop. Good price. Much nicer looking than a traditional drainer. Easy to stow away when not in use, however, it looks nice enough that I typically just leave it out on the countertop all the time. I like that fact that it doubles as a trivet for hot items. That comes in handy more often than you would think. The only con is that it is not deep enough to really keep the water away from the dishes, so they don't always dry completely.
