I've read other reviews stating that it is easy to use and clean and will save one's back from the tortures of a standard hand transfer pump. **Q: What diameter of tubing will I need to get to attach to the outlet?** A: A 1" vinyl tube hooked up really well. **Q: If I turn the handle the opposite direction, will it pump fluid the opposite way?** A: No. The vanes are made to so that you turn it one way. **Q: Is this pump okay for kerosene? The description says for "all petroleum products." But then it says "not for gasoline" which is a petroleum product.** A: I woul think so. The pump works on suction. It is cheap chinse poorly manufactured, and needs some work to make it functional. The pickup tube needs to be sealed, I used epoxy. The pump housing needs to be air tight, use a torqwrench to tighten the bolts evenly(important - evenly), also the gasket may be defective - I used 100% clear silicone sealant as a replacment gasket. After I applied the above fixes, it worked just fine.
