Liquitex Professional Effects Medium, 1-Gallon, Gloss Pouring Medium

This is my absolute favorite pour medium, more then worth the money. Cells are beautiful even without silicone oil. Easy mixing; maybe 30 seconds until color and medium are completely blended. It pours consistently and smooth. When pulling your pour, everything moves as 1 as long as you get the viscosity consistent. I will be buying more and more of this medium. There is really nothing else on the market with the quality and consistency of this medium. 5 out of 5 would reccomend.

This helped my paints to create cells when mixed into my paints. Just use a small amount, it doesn't take much. I hope this helps :)

This stuff is the bomb! My abstract acrylic art work came out perfect everytime! I tried the cheap stuff and wasted a lot of money, so I'm sticking to this. Just waiting for a price drop :)

Great pouring medium! Even though I think it's way too expensive for a pouring medium which probably costs pennies on the dollar to make, this was a great deal compared to other sellers like Michael's, Blick, etc.. it's hard to find in the large tub. But definitely a better pouring medium compared to Sargent, Deco, etc.

It is hard to get off things so wear gloves, cover your surfaces and don't use anything you're not willing to throw away. Other than that I love this pouring medium. I particularly like the gloss finish. I've used other gloss mediums but this ones my favorite. (It being in the tub/can a ladle is not a bad idea.)

This product worked very well for it's intended purpose. When mixed with paint and free poured onto canvas, the paint did not blend at all. The paint was also very free moving which is mainly what I was looking for The only negative thing I have to say is that the lid that comes on this product is the absolute worst. It does not seal at all. This does not seem to affect the quality of the product but if you tip it over the lid IS coming off And if the lid comes off and it spills on anything it will NEVER come out. For example, it spilled on my carpet and hit a sock and part of a plastic gallon of water. The sock and gallon of water are now a permanent part of my carpet. Replacing that section of carpet is litterally my only option. THIS STUFF IS SUPER STICKY. LIKE THE BEST GLUE EVER. As long as you remember that and are really carefull not to knock over this container you will be fine. If not, you will be replacing your carpet/whatever this stuff hits Bottom line, the product is great but the container is litterally the worst ever. So if you decide to buy this, just put it in a different container or be super, super careful not to knock it over

This is my first time using this and so far so good. The packaging was as expected the product was as discribed. It works as advertised with my acrylic paints and all the painting I have used it on look amazing. Will absolutely be purchasing from this seller in the future.

I love the finished result and how smooth it is to the touch. Liquitex could really benefit us all if they did some reevaluating the way the gallon sizes are packaged.... but until that day, I will improvise and make my own spout. Maybe liquitex will see this and take note, bc it's so much easier now and cleaner and far less wasteful and better. It doesn't dry in the spout and it's easy to pump just the right amount.
