100% satisfied with this primer
Needed a thorough mixing but this was quickly done using a drill with a bladed bit. This primer went on easily, smoothly, and quickly. It quickly dried to an even and dustless coating. Created a great bond for a high quality latex enamel finish coat. Product exceeded my expectations.

Galvanizing...
Needed this for a rusting galvanized shoe around our wood stove chimney. Small can was more than adequate to cover it. Nice and thick. I just need to remember to go up and paint over the primer.

Metal Primer
It took about 10 minutes of stirring to get most of the pigment to stay suspended in the solvent, and even then, it took two coats to cover the galvanizede steel door. It took the latex over coat well. It's been three days and, so far so good. Let you know a year from now.

Could not use
As other one star reviews have stated, product was virtually unusable. Mostly clay and could not stir to a level of usefulness. . . . and what mess trying. Perhaps 10 minutes in a professional paint can shaker might have done the trick but didn't have that option available.

Received a useless can of primer!
Primer was received today. Once I was able to open the can, I realized that the product was over 75% a thick gelled mess. I spent quite some time trying to stir the can up - to no avail. Product is useless. VERY disappointed!!!! I'm even having trouble getting the lid sealed back on so I can return the defective product.

OVERPRICED GARBAGE.
Bought 6/24. Opened 10/24. Looked like ball of clay. Tried stirring, it looked like cottage cheese. Do not trust. Threw away. For that price it should have been easier to use with a longer shelf life than four months.

Quality primer for galvanised finishes
Did exactly what it said on the tin the longevity of it - only time will tell! It took the top coat of paint very well.
