Everything I've been looking for! It connects flawlessly to a PS3 and PC/ Steam deck. It doesn't work without tinkering playing emulated PS3/PS2 Guitar Hero games that have more than a guitar. They still get stuck saying you need a microphone to play, which sucks, but the early guitar hero games work great! ( The ones with only guitar). All the system features work just like a stock guitar hero guitar. Rockband and Clone hero work great too! Overall I couldn't be happier with the quality and compatibility of this guitar. Go get one!

I’ve been using this controller nearly every day since I got it, which was about a month ago. Overall it’s been pretty good! Here’s my pros and cons. I’ll actually start with the cons. CONS • The power switch is located behind the battery cover. So at the beginning and end of every session I need to pop the cover off/on and it gets annoying. If you leave the guitar powered on, it will turn off automatically after some time (which you can power back on by pressing the button next to the dpad). BUT leaving it on causes issues as my PC will receive star power inputs from the controller since I store it vertically. • It’s detected as a “keyboard” on PC rather than a controller. This means the guitar can interfere with you if you leave it on and go to do something else on your PC. If I set the guitar vertically against the wall, the constant star power (spacebar) input makes it difficult to do anything on my PC until I turn it off. Also, since this guitar is detected as a “keyboard” you cannot use 2 of them for multiplayer unless you go through the hassle of using third party software. I believe these issues only exist on PC, but I have not tested on a console. • Stum bar already has a bit of a squeak. PROS • Nice overall build quality. I'm impressed with how solid this thing feels. I can shake it pretty hard and I’ll hear no rattling on the inside. The frets do use membrane buttons like the old guitar hero controllers, instead of mechanical switches, but they feel good regardless. The yellow fret also has the little “feeler bump” on it to which I like to see. • Great connectivity and good latency. I was worried that I would have issues with this being a wireless controller, but once you get it all set up, it feels great and very responsive. I haven’t had any input issues while I’m playing. All in all, I’d say this controller was worth it for me. The original controllers are getting more and more difficult to find and this is a great option if you want something new.

EXACTLY what I was looking for! Literally plug and play for PC. Download clone hero, plug the guitar into your PC and your all set. The buttons are clicky and so is the strum bar (stum bar isnt gummy, its pretty clicky) One note: This takes AA batteries so there is a panel on the back for them, however, that is the same place the on/off switch is. So in order to turn the guitar on and off you have to take that panel on and off, and the batteries fall out and its pretty annoying. Sooooo I marked where the small switch is, took the panel to my workbench and drilled a dime sized hole into the cover. Works perfect, now i can get my finger in and switch the guitar on/off without taking the cover off.

Fantastic product, works amazing on clone hero!!

Finally a guitar that works. The RiftMaster just not cut it. If you are using the riffmaster and cannot get it to work on a PC with clone hair, please go to this NBCP

Both the blue and orange buttons were out when I received it and couldn't play anything. The build quality was horrible and looked to have been 3d printed in some spots. Also both the buttons and strum bar were annoying manly the strum bar squeaks
