**Q: Does this light need to be oriented upright in an outlet? We just bought another light and found that it can't be plugged in sideways or upside down.**
A: The real question is whether or not it has a polarized plug with one blade larger than the other. From the other answers, it has two blades that are the same size. In the same outlet position (top or bottom) it can be used in the up or down orientation. In my bathroom, the outlet has been installed horizontally instead of vertically. This the first time I have ever seen a recepticle installed this way. My house is filled with plumbing and electrical code in violation of today's standards.Even the manufacturer misunderstood this question.

**Q: Do you make any with motion sensors instead of dusk to dawn?**
A: No

**Q: Why is the manufacturer jasco products selling this on amazon as their product instead of ge, if its a ge product?**
A: Thank you for your question.  GE is the brand but Jasco is the manufacture.  For example, Chevy is the brand but the manufacture is General Motors.

They're a bit brighter than most, and you can cycle through several colors—I keep mine on the soft blue, which provides just the right amount of light without disturbing sleep. There's no dimmer, but I've never felt I needed one. I've had some of these for nearly three years, and they haven't dimmed over time. They also have a dusk-to-dawn sensor, so don't be surprised if they don't light up when you first plug them in under bright room lighting. Overall, a reliable, well-made product that I now use in several rooms.

This is a pretty great night light, I like that you can change the colors to whatever color you want, it has a nice glow to it and my kids really appreciate it because they are afraid of the dark. I like it also because it auto detects whether you have a light on or not so once it's dark it automatically turns itself on.
