I am installing these on Solid Surface and see that you sell an adhesive for Solid Surface** A: You need to use a quick-set epoxy to do this. (I used J.B. Weld brand, but there are many others.) It usually comes as a set of two bottles, one bottle is the resin, and the other bottle is the hardener. You mix them together in equal amounts for 60 seconds, and then apply it to your surfaces. (Be sure to wear gloves, and also eye protection if you have to be directly underneath the area where you’re applying epoxy.) You’ll only have a minute or two before the epoxy starts to harden, so work quickly and it might be a good idea to mix and apply in small amounts so that no material is wasted. Give the epoxy 24-48 hours to completely cure, or harden with your clip screws in place. Then, secure the clips to the bottom of the sink, and tighten in place using the wing nuts. **Q: Will this work on a quartz countertop that has already been installed and what adhesive Will work with quarts ?** A: I can’t speak to quartz specifically but these have worked well on granite countertops. Very easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to install with no drilling and will save you time and effort! *by J***D on 9 March 2020* A few weeks ago I cracked my bathroom sink and bought an American Standard to replace it. The American Standard came with clips that required drilling into the bottom of the granite (lots more work than I thought it would be, even with a mason bit) and securing a threaded insert into the hole using epoxy. One this was set, the theory was that you could put a screw through the clip and screw it down to the threaded insert. The threaded insert was only a little bigger than the screw itself and when I tried to tighten the screws the insert would spin and the epoxy would fail. I tried 3 different types of epoxy, cleaning with a brush and acetone each time. After 3-5 tries I started to think about how a plate that could be glued to the underside of the countertop would have more surface area to grip than the small threaded insert and would be less likely to spin when tightening the screw. I came on Amazon to look for parts to build what I was thinking and found these - pretty much what I was envisioning. Even better, holes in the plate would allow epoxy through and great stubs that would further keep the plate from spinning. I have literally been trying to get the clips that came with the sink to work for 2 weeks, so for less than $15 I had nothing to lose. I bought a pack and some PC-7 epoxy based on the reviews on here. Installing these was so fast in comparison to the other clips. It took me over an hour to drill 4 small holes in the granite with the other clips, and that was before I even got started on the clips themselves. These clips arrived and it took me 15 minutes to epoxy them to the countertop. I let the epoxy cure for 36 hours (PC-7 says 24 hours but I wanted to be sure). When I checked today the clips were very secure and I could tighten the screws down nice and tight with no hint of the anchors spinning or moving. I wish I had purchased these when I got the sink.
