And this is not a complete swivel it will lock in 1 of the 4 directions and doens't swivel at all. This or pay Samson's $10 USD shipping charge for this $26 QD sling mount. The construction is great and it fit the rail great. My biggest gripe is with the QD mount point its self. I have 3 different QD sling swivels and none of them fit. I called Samson-MFG and asked why they don't fit my swivels. I measured my mount it only accepts around a 7.5mm depth swivel post and all 3 of mine was longer with the longest one about 9.2mm. He said he knew that the Magpul QD swivels didn't fit but that's the only one he knew about. Maybe because I bought it on Amazon and it wasn't a true "Samson-MFG" QD mount. So a couple days later I got an email back that he had an engineer measure the mounting depth and confirmed the post depth of like 7.87mm. I ended up taking the QD mount off the rail and taking it to gun shops around me testing the swivel posts. to see if they would lock into the mount.Long story short, I ended up getting a Magpul QD swivel as it is the only one that would fit and lock in. Go figure... Because Samson Mfg. Evolution limits your rail and accessory mounting I'm probably going to remove the complete rail and go with a more universal rail system that gun shops carry. Very customizable as far as location. Installation can be a tad tricky but I managed to get it installed without removing the rail.
