Product description IMPORTANT NOTE This drive only works with 3-phase asynchronous motors. Please make sure your motor is a 3-phase asynchronous motor before purchasing. To protect the VFD, be sure to press the red button "Stop" and turn off the power when you stop using it.When the VFD is working, the inside of the heat sink may reach about 176℉ (80℃), please pay attention to the protection measures! The motor ( or other loads ) and the VFD can only be connected by wire without anything between （eg. No switch can be installed between them).If you want to use the switch to control the load, please refer to the following method to connect the terminals. The two ends of the switch are connected to FWD and GND, turn on the switch, the motor is turning positive, turn off the switch, the motor stops working.The two ends of the switch are connected to REV and GND, turn on the switch, the motor reverses, turn off the switch the motor stops working.Select the function you want to achieve to connect the switch. Panel Operation Instructions Advanced Features Independent control panel and detachable for remote control. Parameters can be set to achieve the braking function. Support 5V or 10V PWM control frequency. Single/Three-phase: We offer single-phase 220V and three-phase 220V inputs. When used for single-phase, the other phase can be used as a spare line. Use the parameter setting to achieve the effect similar to the external resistor. A high capacitance with low output torque 0.5HZ-150% and low speed operation. Superior anti-interference performance. Simple operating guide（motor） Connecting load devices (eg.motor) If the input power is single-phase 220v, then connect to R and T. S is empty and does not need to be connected； If the input power is three phase 220v then connect to R, S and T；For 3KW power models, only L and N need to be connected and the other wire is empty. The three wires of the motor are connected to U,V,W, Motor junction box needs to be changed to Δ wiring method (You can see the motor nameplate is generally marked delta for three-phase 220v, Y for three-phase 380v, if you do not understand the motor name plate to take photos to us). Set The Initial Test Parameters pn32=6, pn02=rated frequency of the motor, pn03=2, pn04=1；pn10=rated frequency of the motor；pn12=rated frequency of the motor After setting as above, press the RUN button to start and STOP button to stop, FWD/REV button to switch forward and reverse, and the panel up / down buttons to adjust the speed. Cooling Fan With fan cooling and efficient heat dissipation capability, it makes sure the internal temperature of VFD is suitable for long and consistent operation. I reached out to their support before I bought it and they were very helpful. They wanted a picture of the data plate from the motor and had their engineers review to recommend which size I should get. I mentioned to them that it was for an air compressor and they even provided instructions to set it up to work with my pressure switch! I would highly recommend this VFD if you only have single phase and want to run a 3 phase motor. (Ignore my wiring. I tried another VFD first and ran 10/3 with a 30A breaker. When I switched to this one I ran 8/3 (you can use 8/2 though) with a 40A breaker. I just haven't tidied it up yet. )

I use this to add a 2nd and 3rd phase to be able to run my 3 phase air compressor. I reached out to their support before I bought it and they were very helpful. Got this for a gift and it doesn’t run a 7.5hp motor. Putting out over 500v on the 3rd leg and displays error message. Tried contacting support and no way to get ahold of the company. Do not recommend!
