Millions of Americans remember Dick and Jane (and Sally and Spot, too!). Now Dick and Jane and all their pals are back with revised editions of these classic readers for a whole new generation of readers to enjoy! Go, Go, Go Oh, Jane. Look and see. See Sally go. See Tim go. See Spot and Puff go. Review: Still good for children. - Still good for children today, even though some educators don't think so. I like that it portrays a normal family unit. Review: wonderful product - This book is wonderful. It is the perfect size for a young, new reader. The young man I got this for is so excited. He is in a district where they are still using the Whole Language technique. There is no book reading or story reading to put the words he is leaning in context. With this book he is getting the context in short chapters that he can easily read and digest.

Great starter book!
These booked really help my son with reading. It is a subject that he is struggling with. This book introduces small words that make it easy. Even though it can seem repetitive and not like an actual story, it helps the child learn the eye movement to read and repeat what they are seeing. Excellent starter books!

Learning to read with Dick and Jane
Exemple tiré de Dick and Jane Go, Go, Go: "The blue boat can go. The yellow boat can go. My little, red car can go. Look, look. See my red car go."

Great for sight reading!
Dick & Jane helped my ASD son to use his good skill for sight reading to learn to read. He was lousy at phonics (even tho we still did them) but great at sight reading, so we went back to the old-school sight readers that I grew up on & he became a very confident reader. Repetitive words might seem dull to mom/dad but it increases reading confidence by familiarity of words. Worked great for us!
