Weleda Citrus Deodorant, 3.4 Fluid Ounce

The Weleda Citrus Deodorant has a wonderfully NATURAL citrus smell that is simply amazing. Most products have a chemical-artificial citrus smell, or a citrus smell mixed with other smells like fruits or flowers, completely ruining the experience. While flowery smelling products are easy to find, good, natural citrus smelling products aren't easy to find. This ones rules. It's natural with none of the common offenders found commonly in deodorants. I love the glass bottles. They are a nice touch. You can re-use and re-purpose them or recycle them. I re-use them. The bottles are really well made and reminds me of when we were little, when almost everything was packaged in quality containers. Folks, there is no such thing as a 12 hour effective natural deodorant. To be hyper effective, a product has to block your sweat glands like most mainstream commercial products do. However, that is not good for your body in the long run. The other solution is heavy use of chemicals, which again is not very good for your health. Thirdly, a good strong artificial chemical smell can mask the rest. I don't fancy smelling like my deodorant, unless it's a wonderful smell like this one. If I want to make myself smell good, I have perfumes for that, and I hate it when my shampoo/conditioner/deodorant competes with, and ruins my perfume/cologne. Yes, this product is not as effective as a chemical-laden, sweat gland-blocking product, but the two cannot be compared. They are two different animals. I re-apply as needed and I don't need to remove most clothes to re-apply. I can re-apply by pulling the neckline of most tops, or if it's short sleeved, by pulling the sleeve. It's a spray so you don't have to reach the arm pit. And if some gets on your clothes? It's never stained any of my clothes, and unlike even some high end designer perfumes that you can never get the smell out of clothes, this smell comes off in the was very easily. And what a pleasure it is to re-apply! You get to bask in the smell that, because it's a spray, invariably reaches your nose every time you do. Each individual's mileage will vary as sweat strength/smell varies greatly among individuals, in my case a spray every 6-8 hours is sufficient. I often use this as my perfume as well, i.e. I spray my under arm area liberally, and skip the perfume. Ok, I'll admit that there have been days that I've sprayed this on my stomach and neck as well to use it as a perfume. The smell is just so great folks, if you are into citrus smells, that is. It dries almost immediately and is very comfortable. You don't have a wet or slimy armpit like with most other products. There is absolutely no white marks on your armpit or clothes! None! Until I found this I was using Miessence Aroma-free doeodorant (I couldn't find a smell on their line that I liked), which was ok, but this is way better. Miessence is a roll-on and you have that roll-on feeling until it dries. Even when it dried, you could "feel it." Which is the case with most mainstream deodorants as well. Basically, the mainstream products work by covering your armpit with a thick layer of product. Pros: 1. Great, natural citrus smell. 2. Non-aerosol. 3. Re-usable, environmentally friendly glass bottle. 4. Good for you and good for your health. 5. Lasts 6-8 hours (for me) 6. Doesn't ruin clothes by staining. 7. Doesn't ruin clothes by the smell attaching to the clothes permanently. 8. Dries immediately and is very comfortable from them moment you spray it on. 9. No white marks on your armpit or your clothes. Cons: 1. I don't have any cons only because I do not expect a natural product to perform like a chemical-laden product.

Excellent, natural, and effective deodorant! I finally found a natural deodorant that works and that's gentle to my underarms. I love the natural formula and citrus scent. This deodorant works by neutralizing my underarm odor and reducing my sweating. It's very easy to use: I spray 3 times on each clean underarm, it smells great, it dries quickly, provides protection, and it doesn't stain my clothes. I like the tinted, sturdy glass bottle, it also protects the ingredients. I feel fresh using this deodorant. My son also uses this deodorant and is very pleased with it. The 3.4 oz bottles last a very long time. I definitely feel there's value in this purchase!

This is my absolute favorite deodorant to wear to the theme parks. I use it in other areas too when I feel like I’m sweating bad and releasing BO. This works like a charm immediately refreshing and the rose scent is incredible. 10000000%

I try very hard to watch the chemicals I put in and on my body for many reasons, but especially since I have an MTHFR mutation and one of the characteristics of this is being inefficient at clearing toxins from the body, but especially metals. Aluminum is widely used in antiperspirant products, even some so-called natural ones, so I have been seeking out alternatives for my husband and I to keep the stink at bay and yet still protect our bodies. Weleda makes this wonderful spray deodorant and I bought both available scents to try out, originally intending one for me and one for my husband. Both scents, ultimately, are mild & suitable for anyone. After about a month of regular use of the Sage scent, my husband developed a burning sensation and some irritation, so he discontinued the use. I now use it in rotation with this and one other natural deodorant. It does have a mild tingling sensation when it first goes on, but it subsides quickly for me. I honestly really like the Citrus and the Sage, I will rotate which I use as the mood hits me. It does what it supposed to do fairly well. Keep in mind we are in the depths of a deep south summer right now, so it is asking a LOT out of any product to keep the stinks at bay. The light scent is stronger when first applied (obviously), but the effect does linger for at least a few hours. While it doesn't control the beast entirely, I can tell a very real difference when I am wearing it as opposed to nothing at all. I am also pleasantly surprised at how long it has lasted, even while rotating it with another product.

Wow! This is a great product. I am allergic to metals (like the aluminum in deodorant) and am very health conscious. I love that this does not have chemicals like other deodorants that may cause cancer. This seems to be a lot safer. Sweat: I sweat 25% of what I use to. I think normal deodorants increase sweating because your body reacts to the chemicals. Smell: This has a strong smell initially (but a nice floral smell). Once the smell dries you can only notice it if you smell your armpit. Sweating does not cause the smell to amplify. Transition: At first it was awkward because this does not coat your armpit like other deodorants so you feel bare (like you forgot to put deodorant on). Once you get use to the feel it is great and I have never had a desire to go back to my normal deodorant. Use: I spray each armpit 1 or 2 times in the morning. That is it. If I am going to go to the gym I might spray each again beforehand. I have worked 12 hour shifts at the hospital with only ever spraying my armpits before my shift. (note: it may burn for a couple seconds if you spray immediately after shaving your armpits so wait awhile or just be prepared). Effective: It truly has stopped my sweating. After going to the gym or work you will still smell from normal activity but for me, my sweating was decreased. Comparison: I have tried other natural deodorants and have never been able to stick it out. This one is different and I love using it. I no longer get rashes under my arms and my arm pit sweating has almost stopped completely.

I first started trying this product about a year ago, and it was amazing. I was having allergic reactions to almost all typical deodorants and I have had recurring swollen lymph nodes for years. The doctors just always said it was a reaction to bacteria and their response was to tell me to stop shaving or do it less frequently, but this stopped my swelling probably because of the alcohol in it. Anyways, I loved it as soon as I tried it. It smelled exactly like a rose picked from the garden. I started on the subscribe and save plan and was getting it regularly. I received my June shipment in 2014 and all of a sudden it just started smelling so weird. I believe this smell is what the other people on here are referring to when they say it smells nothing like roses. The rest of my summer shipments smelled the same and I was really upset that they were not returnable due to the chemicals in it - I couldn't even find a way to request a replacement through Amazon. I believe what I experienced is the result of the deodorant getting too hot since all of these shipments arrived extremely warm out of the packaging. I think it chemically changed the deodorant. I stopped my subscribe and save then since apparently no one noticed that the product was being "damaged". I am afraid to even buy it again online because I tried purchasing it again in the fall and it smelled exactly the same - I am thinking it might be overheating in whatever warehouse it was being stored it. I am hoping to find a local store that sells it in the hopes that I can get back to using the beautiful rose-scented deodorant that this use to be when I tried it a year ago.

My all time favorite. Minimal ingredients--I have super sensitive skin. Works well, and easy to reapply.

Olor cítrico, fresco y agradable. Quería algo bastante natural aunque el efecto no durara 24h porque la mayoría de desodorantes me producen picor en las axilas. Este ha cumplido mis expectativas y no me produce picor alguno. Al ser una botella de 100ml es fácil de llevar en el bolso para volverlo a aplicar cuando es necesario. Me gusta que venga en botella de cristal que permite rellenarse para otros usos cuando ya se ha gastado y así evitar residuos. Me he subscrito para no quedarme sin. Hace meses que lo utilizo.

Uso il deodorante spray al limone di Weleda da un po’ di tempo e ne sono molto soddisfatta. Il profumo è fresco, agrumato e naturale, per nulla artificiale o invadente: dà subito una sensazione di pulito e freschezza, perfetta soprattutto nei mesi caldi. Apprezzo molto la formula naturale, senza sali di alluminio, che rispetta la pelle e non provoca irritazioni. Non blocca la sudorazione, ma aiuta a neutralizzare efficacemente i cattivi odori, lasciando la pelle traspirare. Lo spray è pratico e si asciuga rapidamente senza lasciare residui sui vestiti. Ovviamente, essendo un deodorante naturale, potrebbe non essere sufficiente per chi cerca una protezione “strong” per tutta la giornata, ma per un uso quotidiano è ottimo. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente.

Schönes Deo in einer gut zu handtierenden Pumpspray-Flasche. Sehr angenehmer Duft wie nicht anders zu erwarten von dieser Schweizer Firma. Ich liebe die Produkte von WELEDA, besonders die "Wildrose"-Produkte. Nicht nur das Duschgel, auch die Bodymilk liegen ganz auf meiner Linie. Sie machen meine Haut zart und haben einen angenehmen zarten Duft, der nicht aufdringlich ist. Das Deodorant vervollständigt jetzt das Trio! WELEDA-Produkte sind zwar etwas teurer, aber sie sind einfach ihren Preis wert. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Geruch ist Geschmacksache. Der Preis ist hoch, aber ich bin bereit, mehr Geld für die hohen Qualitätsstandards und die hochwertigen, naturreinen Inhaltsstoffe der Firma Weleda zu zahlen. Ich nehme hier nur kurz Bezug auf eine Bewertung hier: "Die Wirkung hält ca. 2-4 Stunden an, wenn überhaupt. Was nützt mir ein Bio Deo, wenn man ständig nachsprühen kann. Das Produkt ist maßlos überteuert und nur für Menschen geeignet, die generell nicht zum Schwitzen neigen." Ich frage mich, welche Wirkung die Bewerterin hier erzielen wollte? Ich bin selber eine starke Schwitzerin. Ich rieche dabei meistens nicht unangenehm, aber ich schwitze viel. Was durch das Deodorant natürlich nicht unterbunden wird. Dies ist kein Antitranspirant. Was die Duftwirkung angeht: Ich benutze das Deo 1mal täglich nach der allgemeinen Körperreinigung:-) Wenn ich eine Erfrischung brauche, auch mal öfters. Das braucht es aber für die Wirkung m.E. überhaupt nicht. Meine Achseln duften bis zum Abend, natürlich nicht mehr so intensiv, wie nach dem Aufsprühen, aber der Duft ist nach 8-10 Stunden immernoch dezent wahrnehmbar. Zudem wirken die hier enthaltenen Zitrusöle stark antibakteriell. Sich zersetzende Bakterien in Achsel oder wahlweise als Rückstände in nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigten Kleidungsstücken sind Hauptverursacher von unangenehmen Gerüchen. Passiert mit diesem Deo also eher nicht. Ich kann diese Bewertung also nicht nachvollziehen.
