I have a 10-month-old Shiba Inu. And this is her first season to blow her undercoat. Shiba Inus are very clean dogs and never have a foul odor, but they do shed lightly through most of the year and blow their coats twice yearly. Well, I thought I could handle it with daily brushing and vacuuming. Forget about it! I know Furminator is a trusted product for many groomers. So I decided to try it at home. The bottles arrived well sealed with no leakage. The shampoo lathers nicely (not too much). Both the shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant light clean scent and rinse out easily. They work perfectly together. Be prepared for clumps of fur to rinse off around and into your drain. When blow-drying, the fur clumps will fly! If you have the brush that suctions the fur, that canister is going to have enough fur to make another pet. And the result will be astonishing. My puppy's fur was so clean, light, and soft. The undercoat was almost totally gone in just one wash. I'll probably take her to the groomer next time because the cleanup after the bath was major! But if you have the patience and want to do this at home, it works. One week later, and she still smells fresh and only sheds a tiny bit, which is expected for her breed, but nothing like the tufts that would just pop off anytime and all the time before the Furminator treatment. The products will last a long time because of how effective they are. A little bit goes a long way! Fantastic products that do what they claim and better!

This stuff works! A groomer gave me a tip to let it sit in the fur a few minutes before rinsing (both steps) and that makes the difference. I would estimate that it cuts down on shedding by about 50% for at least the first couple weeks after use. Also makes my dogs coats soft and silky and doesn’t seem to irritate their skin. One thing I’ll say especially on the shampoo, a little goes a long way and once you work up the lather you’ll realize you don’t need to use too much. Would recommend!

Weve used this shampoo and conditioner for years and love it! Weve had two labs over the years and in the spring and summer, their winter coat creates little fur balls everywhere! This helps shed that thick undercoat and leaves them soft and shiny! Our 1st lab had skin allergies but this never irritated her skin. We use this for regular washing, after the beach, or after weekends on the farm. We will keep purchasing for years to come!

This is a miracle product. Left my pups coat so soft and most importantly NO SHEDDING!!! Even when I run my hand on their short coat nothing falls out. Would recommend to every pet parent. Get this NOW!!!

This works as described. It smells good too. It gave our dog a nice smooth coat.

Its worth the money, especially if your dog is shedding a lot. My dog has been shedding his winter coat and my house is covered in hairs. This shampoo and conditioner don't eliminate that problem but it sure helps a lot. It lathers pretty good and you don't have to use to much.
