I own all Tyler Childers' CDs. I discovered him a few years ago, and he does not disappoint. And, here I was (yes, I'm older), thinking that all the great country/folk musicians had passed away. Not the case. Tyler Childers is at the vanguard of superb Americana music. I admit I like his acoustical singer/songwriter music the best and this one is fully produced with a band, which in my mind overwhelms Tyler the singer at times. With that said, I agree with one reviewer who said what we need now is a live album. On YouTube I discovered several cover songs; among them are: The Old Country Church; Take My Hounds to Heaven; and Help Me Make It through the Night. What great versions and his voice is in full strength. So, I continue to do online searches of Tyler's latest music. I don't want to miss his next CD and, one hopes, a live CD capturing him in all his greatness.
