Very light, tiny, cheap and fast.
It's tiny and flimsy but it delivers. I copied a 128G UHS I v30 SanDisk Extreme Pro SD card using a bunch of my older USB-C readers and they averaged 7 mins 52 secs. This tiny ProGrade came in at 4 mins 27 seconds. I would assume UHS II and V90 would benefit even more.

Fast and Reliable + No Overheating
I get great read and write speeds using this adapter with my Samsung Tab S6/Tab S8 and Lexar SD cards. I haven't had any transfers of around 500 pictures and several videos in ONE go fail- unlike every other adapter I've used so far. A big plus is that the adapter doesn't get hot- just a bit warm. Only bad thing about this thing is that the adapter doesn't work if you plug it in one way. However, unplugging it and plugging it back in the other way immediately makes it work, so not a big deal.

Incredible product, a must have for photographers
This reader supports UHS II SD card which read between 240MB/s and 300MB/s. It increased my read speed of an UHS I product from 85MB/s to 150MB/s. That’s considered twice the productivity for image/video accesses and it’s a great investment.

Tiny and fast
I have the larger ProGrade card reader, with the external USB C cable, and it's great, but it's also bulky and I need to remember to take it with me. This little mini card reader is super small, light, and I can stick it to my laptop with Velcro dots so it's always with me.

Seems a litte brittle tbh, difficult to insert a micro sd ? PRO?
It works and transfers at 170mps with Sandisk extreme pro micro Issue 1 - the micro sd slot does not align the micro sd card as you insert it..... that is to say it is easy to insert the card, but it does not align internally. We are all used to easy spring loaded micro sd inserts on devices, this one goes in but there is room inside the terminal for the tip to miss the target.....??? Pro what? fumbling with a micro sd card trying to get it to align does not feel very professional. It's a bit frustrating actually. Issue 2 - while the EXTERNAL MALE usb c is fine for mobile devices, its problematic when using on a laptop...... it would be so easy to plug any usb c cable into a female C and it would be PERFECT. The little protruding C tab looks like its gonna snap off in the usb c port or in a bag............. because of the ext male C plug, the width of the reader instantly covers both tb ports on laptop rendering the second useless, same phenomenon on dongles.... finding myself looking for a 90 coupler or short usb c extension to get a SD card reader to fit while using other ports?

Compared to other ProGrade card readers, this seems like a toy
I have several other ProGrade card readers (Dual SD/MicroSD, CFast and so on), and this is one has no magnetic back, and is about 20% of the size of these other drives. More easily lost, seems like it can just be crushed ... a strange design when others in their product line are so robust and the magnetic back keeps them locked solidly onto racks, laptop cases and table edges. This magnetic feature is a real plus, and this model has none. Yes, it is 1/2 price, but it seems like a toy. I think if they showed a photo of a man's thumb holding it, and the thumb almost completely covers is up, you'd get the point. Jut a footnote. Seems to work just fine? I just hope my cat does not swallow it?

Genuine USB 3.2 Gen 1
Do have a few Pro grade SD cards, and this allows the SD card to transfer as close as the SD card's speed, including sustained R/W. This allows me to transfer footage away from my phone (USB C and uses the USB 3.x protocol) to a an external media, which is my SD card. The downside is if you kept the card reader on the device, swap out another SD card, it won't detect unless you 'restart' the card reader.

Quick and stable
Best SD reader I’ve used. There is obviously better readers but for the price and compact size I don’t think you can find better. Speeds are great and stable. I use this for my photography side job and does a quick job of transferring 1000 raw photos in a reasonable time!
