I didn't realize the motor was the problem and I preemptively ordered this mirror. After learning the factory mirror was still good, I held on to this new one just in case it happened again. Well it's 7 months later and someone broke the factory mirror. So glad I have this ready-to-go! It's an easy snap-in replacement. It is the correct part for my 2011 F150 Lariat. While I didn't know this before hand, the original factory mirror had an auto-dimming feature. I did take a minute to look on Amazon for the upgraded feature version of the mirror and there are none available. When speaking to the Ford Dealership, they were pricing it out to be $450 just for the mirror.
