Dyson quality and Amazon pricing are a great combination
This is air purifier is everything I expected from Dyson. I have used their vacuums and hair care products for years, but this is our first Dyson air purifier. I have allergies and live in the country surrounded by trees and pollen. We have tried a couple of other less expensive brands in our bedroom with some success. When we decided we needed one for larger, open living areas we did a lot of research and selected the Dyson. We’ve been so impressed with the difference. It easily handles our open floor plan. I rarely have allergy symptoms any more. The dust and pollen just aren’t a problem at home. And smells from cooking don’t linger like they did before. It automatically adjusts to the level of purification needed. Assembly was easy (basically just installing the filter) and it was going within minutes. The cooling fan has been a great bonus. It puts out cool air and is surprisingly quiet even at high airflows. The remote is convenient accessory and stores right on top with a magnet when not needed. Dyson continues to impress me. And Amazon pricing was the best we found.

Arrived just in time for the heat wave
As most of you know, July 2023 is on record being one of the hottest months in history. This came right on time. I had my a/c on its highest speed with this Dyson tower fan blowing in my direction. It saved my life! It is very efficient. You will hear a mild passing of air through the inner sides of the fan. It does not rattle, hum, or vibrate when in use. I'm very happy with it.

Worth the purchase
Very good fan. And I know it will last 10+ years to come.

Coolest fan on all levels that you can own!!
Yes if you can find a damaged box lower price product intact deal I suggest you buy this fan. Dyson is to fans and stick vacs what Apple is to smartphones. The packaging was damaged but the product was in pristine shape. Unboxing and installing the filters on the base were very easy. I suggest you buy a pair of aftermarket filters upon inital purchase. The fan features, speeds, and extremely QUIET engineering make this one of the only fans you can sleep next to without waking. Very pleased, SIX stars...

Squeaks after a while
This fan did well for the first 7 days, after that it started to squeak, then it had a very high pitch when blowing air, and the. It just didn’t stop. I tried to clean anything off of the fan but I didn’t see anything that might have caused it. Then I read on other reviews that this fan happens to do that to other buyers. No I’m waiting on my refund and I sent this fan back on 8/7/2023 and it’s 8/17/2023. Not sure why the refund is taking so long for this item, and I did buy other things that I happened to send back the same day and I was refunded either the following day or max 3 days later. This is ridiculous from Amazon to take this long, knowing that they have received the item, it’s been sent via UPS, and I have a tracking number showing it’s been sent. Definitely be warned with this item. Something is very fishy… this was an Amazon Prime day sale item. What a waste of time and money that I’m still waiting for.

Small issues but overall good
I've had this unit for about two weeks now, and at first, everything was great. The fan is quiet on setting 6 or below, and on higher settings it's not so loud as to be distracting. The filter is easy to install and replace, and the remote control is quite nice. However, there are a few details that make this air purifier frustrating to deal with. First, the entire unit oscillates like most fans, but unlike most fans, it doesn't have a fixed forward direction. The base is a circle and it will spin even without power applied to it. I assumed this was to accommodate the power cord: place the cord where you have to, then spin the unit around the way you want. Not so. The unit has its own "zero" position that it oscillates around, and if you move it away from that, it goes back before oscillating. And the only indicator of this is the word "Dyson" at the bottom of the unit. That's "zero". Second, the unit comes with an AQ (air quality) graph on the front of the device, which is really nice to look at and see that it's working. The problem is that either the microcontroller or the sensor which drives this display simply stops functioning properly at random times. The first occurrence for me was about a week after purchase, when the graph was stuck on red. It just happened again a minute ago, stuck on yellow. This can be reset by pulling the power plug and plugging it back in, but still, it's a frustration that you have a meter to indicate how clean the air is, but it doesn't work. Overall, if you get this unit, wait for a significant sale. I got mine on sale for almost half price, and that makes it a good deal. At full price, I'd pass.

The tops!
Let's begin by saying my wife has horrid allergies and we live in southern Indiana; not a pleasant combination. After years of allergy shots, medicines, various air purifiers, filters, etc, we tried this TP7A model. THE BEST! She noticed an immediate difference, so I ordered 2 more. Wrong model delivered (TP01). Not even close to as effective. Returned for the correct model and we are VERY pleased. To address the negatives concerning wifi, that model is TP7, although I have never found the necessity of controlling an air filter through my wifi. The remote is quite enough. It is self regulating and very quick to respond to various airborne pollutants

I thought I had purchased a Dyson Air Conditioner not a Dyson Air Purifier. I bought this product in May so that I could cool my new residence when I moved in July. So I did not open the box that the purifier was in, until after my move. I opened the box and got it running, but it wasn't cooling as much as I thought it would. I then read the pamphlet and noticed that I had bought the wrong item. By then, I had already recycled the box it came in, so I knew that I could not return it. The purifier somewhat cools the area around where I sit, but I wanted an air conditioner that would cool a much larger area. My stupid mistake.
