Excellent Value- macro math, cost, taste, results (and a delicious shake recipe!)
Yes- the math is great- 30g of protein, 1g of sugar, 2g fat, 150 calories per serving (2 scoops). And yes, there are similar products with similar nutritional metrics, but I go for Premier Protein for several reasons: 1. Cost. $.93/ounce is highly competitive, despite mainstream product overhead and really nice packaging. Premier Protein is significantly cheaper than Dymatize ISO100 at $1.55/ounce, Optimum Nutrition at $1.37/ounce, and many other similar brands that check some of the same boxes. 2. Consistency. I have consumed in excess of 20 pounds over the past few years. Every tub has the same consistency, same quantity (irritatingly underfilled like ALL of these products), and tastes exactly the same (see 3.). 3. Taste. The Chocolate Milkshake flavor is aaahhhhhhmazing! My shakes taste like regular chocolate shakes- rich, creamy, flavorful with NO chemical bite or off putting whey overtones. (My delicious macro-bomb recipe is below.) 4. Fill-factor. After a 32 oz shake I feel full. Yes- Boyle's law holds and pressure is directly correlated to volume. However, the full feeling lingers for many hours. I have NOT had the same prolonged satiation with other protein powder options. 5. Results/Performance. I am not a nutritional expert, trainer, fitness model, body builder, or beach ego-manic. I'm a regular, middle-aged guy who is in pretty good shape and wants to stay that way. I refuse to lose tone, strength, and mass without a fight. So... after a recent back surgery and a desire to rebuild size and strength efficiently, I changed my daily workouts and my daily nutrition that now includes a midday shake- one per day, every day. I have experienced noticeable gains in muscle size and density as well as strength- particularly big muscle groups in shoulders, back, and legs (sorry- no pictures! ;) ). My 470 calorie / 56g protein shake recipe: -------------------------------------------------- Fill 32 ounce blender cup halfway with ice, then add: - 40g (2 scoops) of Premier Protein Chocolate Milkshake - 1 teaspoon of raw, unsweetened powdered cocoa - 3g of creatine monohydrate (if you add creatine, up your hydration- drink tons of water! Here's a link for a good option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCCNKD73?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1) - 3g of marine collagen peptides (bovine collagen is arguably better with different macros if you can consume mammalian food products) - 1 large raw egg (appropriate cautions if you have concerns about raw foods) - 1 medium banana (optional, but I find it adds a tiny bit of sweetness and more creaminess) - 1/2 cup of skim milk (skip if dairy is an issue, but DO NOT substitute with nut/vegetable "milks." Shake will still be creamy)) - 2 tablespoons of vanilla Greek yogurt (as above, skip if dairy is an issue) - pinch of Celtic salt if you want to neutralize some of the sweetness Top with cold water, blend and enjoy! Soooooooooo good. TIP: If you want some texture in your shake, try adding a tablespoon of bittersweet chocolate chips or cacao nibs before blending. Yes, it adds a few calories, but not enough to create a guilt-flog impulse!

Great mixed with 2% milk!
Also ok mixed with just water, but thinner. With milk it's nice and rich flavor and keeps me feeling full for a long time, this can be my "meal" for the day! About 16 -18 oz milk and 4 scoops of powder is my norm.

Really Delish~ Hard to believe it's so High in Protein!
This product whisks up beautifully & has a very appealing, definitive chocolate flavor. It's quite good made with water but is even tastier, thicker, creamier & higher in protein when made with fat- free milk. This product exceeded my expectations so I plan to order it regularly! It was comparably priced, as well! No wonder it was labeled "Amazon's Choice"!

Meh, it's OK - uses sucralose sweetener
Decent protein powder. Usually dissolves well and tastes good. The protein content is high and comes from whey protein, so this isn't for lactose intolerant individuals. I really disliked that they use sucralose as the sweetener instead of the healthier stevia extract, but I get it, sucralose is cheaper. If they use stevia, I would be more loyal.

Great product
This is just about the best tasting, best nutrition levels (vitamins, calories, etc) and best value for the millions of protein powders out there. I add a scoop to plain oatmeal, along with a tablespoon of chia seeds and ground flax, for a great starter of the day. The chocolate taste isn't as overpowering as some of the other brands I've tried, very pleasant but very good. I also add it to hot water for hot chocolate while this weather is so cold. hits the spot.

Great Taste
This is the best tasting protein powder, I absolutely love both the chocolate and vanilla. It can also be an ingredient in baking goods. It mixes well with my smoothie and adds richness and sweetness without the sugar. I do wish they would use stevia instead of sucralose and acefulfame to make it healthier

A must buy!
Love this stuff. No after taste. I mix with frozen strawberries and bananas so it has some chill. Low in sugar. High protein.

Good if your looking for Protein, otherwise, just so-so
I got this as an alternative to Slim Fast, mainly because of the high protein content. Price was over double that of Slim Fast, but the container was huge. Imagine my surprise upon opening it and seeing that it was only half filled. That seems somewhat deceptive. Container claims to have 17 servings. I found thins to be grossly optimistic. Serving size is 2 scoops, but there were only a little more than 29 level scoops there, so that is between 14 and 15 serving, NOT 17. I mix this powder in 1% milk using a hand blender. The powder does mix well and easily, but be careful not to over mix as it does thicken up the more you mix it and I only used 1 scoop per serving. The first time I made it, I mix for about a minute and it was so thick I could barely get it down - volume increased to almost triple its starting amount due to aeration and I had a tough time getting it all down (I tend to chug it) so it was very filling. However, for the next couple of hours, my stomach continued to growl. I've not tried other protein powders so I can't compare this with them, but I found the flavor to be very blah. I even tried adding vanilla syrup and dark chocolate syrup but still found the flavor to be just so-so. I mainly drink a shake in the morning in place of breakfast. I drank Slim Fast mainly for the fiber and switched to Premier Protein for the protein. Unless protein is your primary concern, it seems that Premier Protein is overpriced and has a few too many downsides. Premier Protein has 15 times more protein, half the fat, 4.5 times less total carbohydrates, 10 times less sugar, but Slim Fast has 27% less sodium, 4 times more fiber, no cholesterol, more vitamin D, calcium, iron, plus many other vitamin not listed on Premier Protein's label. So, it all comes down to why you want to use a powdered drink is protein and don't care about the lack of taste and it being overpriced and deceptively sized, then maybe Premier Protein is right for you. However, if you want more fiber, vitamins, a more reasonable price per serving, and don't mind the higher fat, carbohydrates, and sugar, then maybe Slim Fast would be a better fit.

Great choice
I use this protein powder pretty much every day and I’m really happy with it. The biggest thing for me is that it actually tastes good with just water. A lot of protein powders only taste decent if you mix them with milk or blend them into a smoothie, but this one is easy to drink on its own, which makes it way more convenient. I’ll still sometimes mix it with milk or blend it with berries, but I like that I don’t have to. It has 30g of protein per serving, which is great, and the container lasts a good amount of time. It mixes well enough for everyday use and doesn’t feel like a chore to drink. Overall, this has become a staple for me. Good taste, easy to use, and solid protein per serving.

Bon produit
Bon remplacement d'un repas. Je le mélange avec du lait demi-écrémé et c'est délicieux. Je le recommande!

Brilliant chocolate taste and lovely texture, no lumps, easy to mix.
I was a bit worried about this as Ive brought other protein powder in the past. I needn't have worried this powder is brilliant. Easy to mix, tastes like chocolate not some horrible artificial sweetener and no protein taste. It's is so good, I am glad to have finally found a product I won't be posting on the local pay it forward site.

Tastes Great & Fuels My Day and A Must-Have for My Routine!
I’ve tried quite a few protein powders over the years, but Premier Protein’s chocolate whey powder really stands out. First of all, the taste is fantastic, smooth, rich, and actually enjoyable, like a light chocolate milkshake, without the chalky aftertaste some powders have. Each serving delivers 30g of high-quality protein with just 150 calories and only 1g of sugar, which fits perfectly into my diet goals. Whether I’m using it as a post-workout shake or a quick breakfast on busy mornings, it keeps me full and energized for hours. It also mixes easily with water—no clumps or fuss, just two scoops into 200ml and it’s ready. I sometimes blend it with ice and almond milk for an even creamier texture. If you’re looking for a great-tasting, low-sugar protein powder that delivers on both flavor and nutrition, this one’s a winner. Definitely repurchasing!
