His only complaints are that the Chromebook has been using does not have a large enough display and that his fingers are tired from typing and mousing. We don't have any accessories yet, but I can see us purchasing a great many as we explore more projects together. $40 well spent, but I think we will both be in trouble with my wife if we don't get this under control. I was looking for something not so high level or advanced such as an Arduino Raspberry Pi which are very much fully computerized and ARM based CPUs to boot. I was looking for something simpler for him to start out with. Something similar to my old Parallax Propeller I had bought for myself years ago when he was still a toddler. This, though, compared to the Parallax is much more advanced for the money. Comes with more options than what the Parallax came with out of the box making this thing very promising. It has a series of sensors such as a gyrometer, and other features such as a bluetooth radio. There are other cool things, but I like the fact that it's also easy to program in a few different ways from what I've seen. The box was small and the contents and instructions all arrived fine. Product - This is an easy to use electronic board that is very versatile and can be coded many different ways. It can be integrated with other coding tools and on many platforms. The LED display and all parts work fine. The instructions are easy to follow for a beginner to learn to code with it. Durability - I have been using it for nearly a year and all is well. There is not much to break so I expect it to keep working for years.
