The two step design gives good height in a lightweight package. It folds up neatly. Not as small as the one step model Rubbermaid used to sell but small enough to store in a closet behind close. It is very stable and I would buy it again.I've had this stool for about 2 years and still think it is a very good product. It is holding up well. We love the light weight and is easy to use. It is stable in the stored position and stands on its own. You don't have to worry about it falling over.
