Old one was pretty dirty but not terrible at 25k miles/5 years. I’ve read how easy this R&R is but I found it to be a bit of a PIA. The rubbery dash piece is easy enough but that darn filter door R&R is a pain. I’m an accomplished DIY’er. Problem is it’s cramped up under the dash. Hard to see (even with flashlight), maneuver around while basically standing on your head. Took me a good 20 minutes or so, didn’t help that it was 90 degrees. But I’d never pay for this service and made note to self to only do in Fall or Spring!
