Brilliant product. The fan is very loud but that is the price for performance. The cooler has a removable dust filter that is easy to clean. Only buy this if you have large intake vents on the bottom of your laptop, if you do this cooler is unmatched in it's performance. I highly recommend this cooler for anyone that wants maximum temperature drops, just make sure you have a bottom intake or it will not be effective.

Awesome piece of kit. Keeps my gaming laptop cool with out bother but can be noisy so headphones are a must.

Item arrived with US plug. unusable. This shouldn't be sold in the UK as is.

Personally, I think it's disingenuous to sell it on UK amazon and provide a non UK plug. It looks American? So now I have to spend more money to buy a converter. I think I will return in it.

Worked for 45 minutes before cutting out and breaking. IETS have a no returns policy - luckily Amazon overruled this but I won't be buying again.

Downfall. It's currently and feels like summer and my old laptop cooler works better than this "5000RPM" laptop cooler. Not worth the buy and getting a refund over it. Wouldn't recommend this if ur laptop needs a cooler for gaming.

I wanted the most effective cooling pad for my new Asus Strix G18. So I got this one with a little hesitation because no one ever said anything about using it with a 18inches laptop. The way the G18 is made is that the fan intakes are at the top half of the bottom of the laptop kind of close to the edges. So I took the brave decision to carefully cut off a half inch of the top and both sides of inside of the foam seal to make sure that the intakes are not blocked. It works like a charm and there are no air leaks. It is noisy but hey, if you're here is that you want the most cooling possible. Also, it doesn't need to run at full power if you are not gaming. And if you are gaming, get the volume up or put some headsets ;) I have no idea about the A/C adaptor issue some had, only had mine for a few days.

La mayoría de los ventiladores de laptop te bajan unos pocos grados de temperatura, mientras que el IETS GT500 (y sus hermanos) le bajan decenas de grados a las temperaturas. Tengo una Laptop Dash F15 Corei7, RTX 3070 y al poner juegos demandantes había perdida de desempeño por sobre calentamiento pero con el GT500 puesto como al 30% puedo bajarle unos 20°C y no ser victima del Thermal Throttling, la verdad el ventilador es muy ruidoso al 100%, nunca lo he usado a más del 50% porque el ruido puede molestar incluso con audífonos. Yo traigo el ventilador al 30% en la oficina y es un ruido bastante tolerable y se obtienen muy buenas temperaturas.

Product works for sure, this is something best you can buy for overheating processor's like i9 but fan is crazy loud, I reduce the fan speed at a bearable noise levels I wear glasses so I cant wear hefty headphones for gaming, I game on speaker. If you use the fan at 100% cooling is best but noise is something irritates me a lot I cant bear it. If I reduce the speed then I loose some power on cooling but noise is OK to hear. reduces a lot of temps no thermal throttle.
