Because my hair is so fine, it can get weighed down easily. It also gets over mositurized and overly soft easily. This shampoo smells amazing, like something you'd expect at a high end salon. It gets really foamy and lathers nicely. If you're looking for something super moisturizing, I'd suggest a different shampoo or adding in a moisturizing conditioner. Personally, I was looking for something that wasn't super moisturizing, but I also don't think this dries out the hair as much as other shampoos I've tried. I feel like this shampoo really does make a difference with my hair's volume. It leaves my hair looking really shiny and healthy too.
