Very easy to set up an use. - Speakerphone totally rejects background sound even with car windows open and produces no voice dropouts even under severe background conditions. The parties I talk to are very thankful for this; they have long been annoyed by the background sound and dropouts with several other speakerphones I have used including the phone's built-in speakerphone and my Bluetooth 2-way speakerphone hearing aids. Part of the key to this good performance is probably the microphone being so near my mouth, since the unit is mounted on the car visor. - The built-in speaker is as good as an inexpensive small speaker is expected to be; being very near the driver's ears helps it to work without having to be turned up to distortion level. - The FM radio link is as good as FM radio links can be, i.e. there is some hiss and crackle but on the whole, with my fairly good quality car speakers, the speakerphone and music streaming sound over them is much better than the Roadtrip built-in speaker. - The button is very convenient for answering, rejecting, and ending calls and redialing, and for initiating Siri commands. So I used velcro to mount it on the ceiling above the rear-view mirror. I have not tested its microphone pickup and background canceling performance in this configuration yet.

**Q: How to use the FM radio function?**
A: To set the Roadtrip into FM Transmitter mode, set the power switch on the side to "FM". Here is a video you can refer to. Please feel free to ask questions if there is anything else we can help with.

**Q: Can i run road trip and external speaker simultaneously via my device? my car radio doesn't work well.**
A: If you are trying to play music through the Roadtrip and a portable external speaker at the same time via your smartphone, you unfortunately cannot. The Roadtrip can only pair with a smartphone and not with external speakers. If your car radio works, you can try using the Roadtrip's FM transmission function to play your audio through your car stereo.

**Q: How do you answer or ignore incoming calls?**
A: To answer (or end) a call, short press the Bluetooth button once. To reject a call, hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds. Actually we've a user manual that comes with the item that will provide a clear instruction.

**Q: Will this work through the alexa app ?**
A: Yes, it is compatible.

Not all vehicles have hands-free calling available and this device is great for that. I got this as a Christmas gift for my grandson and will have to get more information from him about the product. But I used to have one of these. They are nice to have. You can make hands-free calls, find an empty FM channel to connect to and use the speakers in your vehicle. Listen to your music or radio apps on your phone through the vehicle speakers. All you need to do, is connect the Bluetooth to your phone. Cool device, if you don’t have hands free calling available in your vehicle, this is what to get.
