## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do they help keep the gutters clean in that the leaves also gets removed  water lifting the leaves higher onto the guard & wind blows  them out?**
A: No they really don't lift the leaves.  My down spouts go into drain pipes that run 150-175' to the creek so I use both these and screens over the gutters.  If my drain pipes get clogged, it's a real pain to clean them out.  With both the screens and these, I don't have a problem.

**Q: I have a 4 inch gutter and 6inch gutter will this work thanks in advance**
A: The guard is 9" long, 3" wide and 3 5/16" high (not counting tube that fits into downspout).  It will fit both 4" and 6" gutters.  One note of caution:  the downspout hole must be at least 1 1/16" from the end of the gutter or the tube will not align with the hole.

They work OK - most everyone's downspout opening is large than the part that goes into the hole in the gutter for the downspout. Live in hurricane prone area so curious how they will stand up when we get a hurricane or if they'll just fly out....

### ⭐⭐⭐ Assembly is quick, hope they stay in place.

Have high hopes. Assembly was pretty easy. Once I climbed up to the downspouts. First one didn't give enough room between the gutter's end plate to insert the leave guard with the short pipe provided that extends into the downspout. That round piece is designed to lower into the pipe but is easy to detach and discard. The second downspout had a gutter brace which interfered again with the round piece designed to go down into the discharge pipe. So I removed it, installed the filter flatten the gutter and hope the stay in place before I removed them for the winter.
