Do they even make 10k drives in that size? I put SSDs in mine.Edit: Looks like they do. Want Cachecade or Fastpath? *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2015* I bought this so I could install 4 Samsung 850 EVOΒ  Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM) Β in my Lenovo TS440Β  Lenovo ThinkServer TS440 70AQ000XUX E3-1225 v3 4GB Tower Server Β that I use as my FreeNAS Media Server. One of them is assigned to L2ARC and the other 3 are in a RAIDZ2 vdev that I use as an ISCSI target for some virtual machines running on Vsphere. This meets SATA III specs which is important for an SSD implementation. If your doing an HBA just make sure you get the right controller like a 9211-4i.
