They are fantastic and inexpensive. I use it for almost everything I cook, meat, veggies, fruit, bread, cheese, anything that needs cutting. They come well sharpened, or mine did, but I recommend getting a fine finishing rod to get an extra sharp edge. This knife is extremely ergonomic, very comfortable in my hand.My favorite part, THE SERRATIONS ARE ON THE CORRECT SIDE FOR A RIGHT HANDER. Most serrated knifes have the serrations on the left side putting them on the inside for a righty. I need the flat part of the knife to be on the left and the serrations on the right since I hold the food with my left hand, it makes it easier to do a straight cut.You could spend a lot more and get a much nicer quality knife, but it's not going to cut any better.I'm not a professional Chief but I have been the main cook at home for almost 30 years and use knifes for a lot of other things, I know a decent knife when I see one. AndI can't speak for longevity but my buddy has been using these knifes for years, he was a professional chief for like 20 years and a life long home Chief (some people cook, since people are Chef's).
