I needed a torch with high enough heat to braze the copper tubing with a silver brazing rod. I didn’t want to spend several hundred bucks on a torch set that might only get used once in a blue moon. I saw this set on Amazon & decided to give it a try. I purchased the propane and oxygen bottles at my local hardware store for. $20. It was easy to hook up and it had the perfect tip for what I needed. I got the lines brazed quickly and the A/C works great. There are no regulators to adjust. Just hook the hoses to the bottles and the rest is just like using a Victor or similar brand torch. Was easy to get the perfect flame. The only con would be that the hoses are short, but the rig weighs next to nothing. I’m pleased with it.
