This stuff works great!
I'm guessing the people who put negative reviews for this just didn't do it right because when you follow the directions it is awesome. I'm going to do a step-by-step here of what worked for me. First step, if the gunk is cold then you need to warm it up. The directions say you can place it in some warm water or rub it between your hands. I stuck it in my bra while I read the directions. Consistency was perfect after about five minutes. I'm pointing this out because I think it's important and could be another cause of the other complaints about the product if the users didn't warm it up first. Next, wash your face with clarifying face wash (I literally used dish soap because I had heavy moisturizer on). Next, use the included towelettes to wipe the area where you will be using the product and dry thoroughly. Also, the directions say to NOT do this right after a shower because something about your skin being too soft or something. Not a problem here. I did not shower before, but just thought I would point that out because that could be another reason it didn't work for other people. After the towelette, thoroughly dry the skin. I used this for my eyebrows only. The directions also say your hairs need to be a certain length for this to work. Again, no problem here because mine were lookin' straight sasquatch - quite long. But, again, could be another reason it didn't work for some people. When you're ready to begin, have a good magnifying mirror, preferably with a light, unless you can see really good up close, which I can't. I bought one here on Amazon when I bought this stuff, and I got some awesome tweezers too. I'll try to find links and post them. The mirror has a USB plug. Perfect. Anyway, I digress. So, take the tube of gunk (now warmed by your body heat) and twist the end several times until you see it start to come out of the tube. This next part is important, apply it to the hairs you want to remove IN THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS, meaning from the roots to the ends. Next, quickly take the little fabric strip and place it over the gunk and rub it 3 to 4 times in one direction, THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS - not back and forth, just one direction from roots to ends sort of smoothing it down into the gunk. Third, grab the strip of fabric with one hand and place your other hand on the skin to hold it taut and quickly rip it off the OPPOSITE direction - meaning, grab the strip at the ends of the hairs, not the root end. You pull AGAINST THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS. This is VERY important and I know could be a reason that it didn't work for other people because I accidentally did this more than once. No hairs came off on the strip when I yanked and then I realized I had yanked from the root end, not the other end and the hair did not come out. If you do it right and yank in the correct direction, like magic, all of your hair will come out and be stuck to the fabric strip. The strips are reusable and the gunk is water soluble and just washes off so if you accidentally get it where you don't want to remove your hair you can just wash it off and start over. You rinse the strips when you're done too and it comes right out. I don't know what this stuff is made out of, but for me it worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier. And way less of a pain in the arse than trying to melt actual wax and have it be the right temperature and all that. No way! If your brows are lookin' squatchy and you don't want to go to the salon, use this stuff.

Disappointing — Didn’t Remove Even a Single Hair
I received the Nad’s Eyebrow Shaper Wax Kit on May 6 and tried it today… oh god, so disappointing. The cleansing wipes felt very soapy/oily, and even after letting the area dry completely, the wax strips did not remove a single hair. I tried so many times, rubbed the strips properly, kept them on for a while, and pulled carefully, but still nothing worked. Not even one hair came off. Total waste of time and very frustrating.

Do it right and it works GREAT!
I followed the directions in Diane's review, and it worked perfectly. I'm guessing the people who put negative reviews for this just didn't do it right, so I'm going to do a step-by-step here of what worked for me. First step, warm up the wax - I did like Diane suggested and stuck it in my bra for a few minutes. If the wax isn't warm enough, it won't work. Wash your face, then use the included towelettes to wipe the area where you will be using the product and dry thoroughly. The directions also say your hairs need to be a certain length for this to work, but my brows have been au natural for a few years now, so no issues there. Like Diane suggested, I used a lighted magnifying mirror to apply, and I had a good pair of tweezers on hand for the few stragglers I missed. Once the wax is warmed, twist the end until you see it start to come out of the tube. It's a slight learning curve to get the right amount of wax and in the place you intend, but it washes right off if you miss. Apply it to the hairs you want to remove IN THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS, meaning from the roots to the ends. When the wax is in the right place, take the little fabric strip and place it over the wax. Rub it a few times in the same direction you applied the wax - not back and forth! Grip the strip of fabric with one hand and place your other hand on the skin to hold it taut. Quickly pull the strip in the OPPOSITE direction of how you applied the wax - meaning, grab the strip at the ends of the hairs, not the root end. If you do it right and yank in the correct direction, the hair will come out and be stuck to the fabric strip. The strips are reusable - just rinse the strips when you're done and it comes right out. I'm fairly pleased with my first attempt, but I'm confident the next time will be even easier with even better results!

Decent, but Not Perfect
Nad's Body Wax Strips are easy to use and convenient for at-home hair removal. They work well on finer hair, but for coarser hair, multiple passes may be needed, which can cause some irritation. The included post-wax wipes help remove residue, but the wax can still be a bit sticky. Overall, it's a decent product for quick touch-ups, but it may not be the best for thorough hair removal.

Great for maintenance
I never wrote reviews but this is a must. Let first start off by saying my eyebrows are mircoshaded, but it’s been 5 years since I’ve done them. The wax is definitely better when you place the pen in a cup of warm water, it flows much easier and it’s easier to control in my opinion. The wax is pretty sticky but the cotton strips just doesn’t grip it as well and I tried both sides of the strip. I had to apply the wax twice on the bottom and top of both of my brows. But just like in the salon once you wax your brows, they clean it up with the tweezers, brush and the scissors to trim the hair the same applies at home. It took me approximately a solid 20 minutes, but it was worth it.

So Glad I Finally Found This Great Product!!
I have been having the worst time trying to find an at-home eyebrow kit. I can never seem to get to the salon regularly enough to keep my brows shaped up nicely, and even when I do go they tend to take off too much. I am in my early forties and my brows have started to thin some, so I really can't afford to have too much taken. Therefore it increased my resolve to find a way to do it at home. Wax kits were too messy and for me a little hard to control where everything went. My usual method has been tweezing but it is beyond tedious and just never has that crisp look I yearn for. Then I found this kit. I am so happy!! It's really pretty easy: You just open one of the little wipe packets to cleanse the area first (once you run out of these make-up removal wipes or baby wipes supposedly work just as well). Then you take the lid off of the pen, and twist it a few times until the gel forms a bead on the angled tip. You swipe the tip of the wand just under your brow line and into the area below wherever there is hair you wish to remove. You don't need to heat it up as it becomes warm from your body temperature. That is very convenient! You then take one of the included muslin strips and smooth it in the direction the hair grows in. For instance, the hair normally grows in the area closer to your nose and grows out toward your temple. So you would place the first edge of the muslin near the inside brow corner near your nose and smooth it firmly over the gel outwards toward the end of your brow - the end nearest your temple. Use your finger to smooth it over again if necessary to make sure there are no bumps, etc. Then you will put your fingers at the end of your brow near your temple and stretch the skin back some. The hair comes off easier when your skin is stretched. Then you grasp the end of the muslin near that end of the brow with your other hand and quickly but smoothly pull it off against the direction your hair grows in - or in other words, toward your nose. When done correctly this should cleanly remove the unwanted hair. You can then do the same in other areas around the brow - on the outside above the brow, in the center between the brow, you get the picture. Sometimes there may be a little residue left over from the gel you have just used and you will want to wipe it clean with the wipe or a new one before proceeding. If you have a stray or two at the end it's generally best to tweeze those. You can then rinse the muslin under warm water and rub it clean. It is actually re-usable if you wash it off. That is something else I really love about this. I have used this several times and there is still plenty left. I have definitely found my ultimate Eyebrow Shaping Product. Literally so happy - it's about time!!

SAVE YOUR SHMECKLES & DO NOT BUY
Absolutely horrible product. The consistency with the stickiness is awful. I used damn near the whole stick just for TWO EYEBROWS (had to shave off my stache again). This is the worst wax I have ever tried. A mess as well, much of it gets WASTED. I placed the wax, then the strip multiple times only to pull away and only get the wax back instead of any hair removal. DO NOT BUY

Best at home kit for the face (and other small areas).
I've tried all different brands and types of wax/sugar/whatever, and this is the best balance of ease of use and effectiveness. This comes in a pen. The "nib" is flat plastic and maybe 3-4mm wide. Turn the back end, wax comes out the business end, and you use the flat bit to spread it onto where you want to wax. Take one of the muslin strips, lay it on top of the wax, give it a good rub to heat up the wax, and pull. This is one of those products that works great if you do it a certain way. The instructions tell you the basics, but don't give up on the first try. (Below I listed some tips that works for me.) A major plus with Nads is that it's sugar based, not wax, so it washes off with warm water. The muslin strips are just like what they use in a salon, so easy to manipulate, grip really well, and though the kit comes with a good number of strips, you can wash and reuse if you want. Some tips: 1) Roll the pen between your palms to heat up the wax a bit. It works best at body temp. (I stick mine under my arm for awhile. I know. But it works.) 2) The first use, you have to turn a the end number of times before anything comes out. But if you've gone nuts with the turning, you're going to get a lot when it finally flows. 3) Don't be stingy with the stuff. Get a good bead of wax on the tip, then apply. You can thin it out with the flat of the tip, but you need a something to spread. 4) Hold the skin taut as you spread in the direction of the hair growth. If it feels like it's already pulling hair, you probably need a slightly thicker layer of product. 5) When you put the strip on top of the wax, give it a good firm rub. It warms up the wax and makes it stick to the hair better. 6) Pull with the strip back, not up. Good luck! (I can also reassure you that if you mess up, eyebrows generally grow right back.)

Fantastic, unbeatable product... if you follow these tips!
I'm mixed race with olive skin and jet black hair. Normally I moustache you not to mention my facial hair, but with this product I have it all under control. My sister and I have been using this for a few years now, after both previously relying on hot wax. This product is far superior. Easy to use, mess free, portable and extremely precise. However, it is a natural product and you do need to follow these rules to ensure a good result. 1) Skin should be clean and dry AND atmosphere must be dry. Do not use in a humid bathroom, it will not work. The skin must be completely dry for the product to adhere correctly. My sister lives in Singapore and can only use this with the aircon turned on, otherwise the humidity stops it working. 2) The product must be warmed to a runny honey like consistency first. Rubbing it between your palms will not suffice. I do this by using my body heat -put it in the crook of your knee for five minutes to warm it up. 3) If you run out of strips, rinse them in warm water and leave to dry. They can be re-used!

No warming required!!
There is absolutely zero prep needed - I love it! You use the cleaning wipes provided and then apply the wax at room temp. So quick and simple! The wand allows for a very precise application of the wax and the formula is easy to control. I was even able to press the used wax strip to my upper lip and wax that area with the strip I’d just used on my eyebrows haha. Once finished, I wiped the wand tip with the cleaning wipe to easily remove the wax residue, ready for the next time. Fantastic design and product!
