FANTASTC
These little containers are fantastic quality. They’re very thick and I would imagine there would never be any pitting. I am really going to enjoy these things. I bought two. Stick your leftovers in them and when you’re ready, put one in the microwave, pull it out and eat. No casserole dishes, too wash no plates to wash. Just straight from the bowl. I may even buy two more. And cleaning is a snap. Nothing whatsoever sticks. I would recommend these to anyone. Anything is helpful. When you get older the less you have to do the better off you are. Life is not meant to be spent doing dishes. OK so now I have purchased four of these little babies. Even though they’re pricey, I love them. I don’t cook rice in them because I have a rice cooker. I don’t cook pasta in them. Not sure how that would work out because of the pasta water ratio. I really don’t think that’s what these are meant for. Like for lunch I poured my can of soup in them and heated it in the microwave and ate it right out of the container. I will cook frozen broccoli in it. Just sprinkle a little water on the broccoli. Works perfectly you have to use your head. You really can’t cook things that require a lot of water. I put my leftovers in them. Next day for lunch I just throw them in the microwave and eat them out of the container or when there’s two of us, I just serve them on a plate. I just think people are making a mistake of trying to use them as an actual rice cooker when you can buy a larger container that is actually made to cook rice and pasta without worrying about it spilling over. This is just too small for that. But I love them. And I think four will do me. Now I don’t have to use all of that other plastic stuff I have that’s ugly and cracking. So just use your head don’t cook pasta and rice.

Definitely the best cooker out there
Absolutely love this to cook rice in my microwave. Easy to use washes up nicely highly recommend. The handles make it easy for me to take it out of the microwave and it is a great size as well. Perfect for one or two people to be able to have a nice meal. I love the red color and the lid is nice because it is vented so you don’t have to worry about skill over. I encountered no leakage so far using the product. You just have to be mindful of how much water you put in. I highly recommend reading the directions, especially if you use minute rice.

MULTI BOILER REPLACES MULTI POT AND BEATS IT BY A MILE
The Nordic Ware MULTI BOILER is the new or UPDATED VERSION OF THE MULTI POT, which was discontinued a few months ago. The old style had only one handle, which made it difficult to center in the microwave and even more difficult to drain, as there was only one handle to hold the lid against when pouring/draining. This NEW version has TWO HANDLES, two little grips, with one on either side of the pot, which directly align to the lid's two handles. The lid is identical to the old multi pot lid and is designed to function the same way. This version can be PERFECTLY CENTERED in the microwave for EVEN HEATING and is designed for TWO HANDED DRAINING like a lot of the new microwave pasta cookers. On this new version, because of the two convenient grips that match up to the lid's grips, you can actually turn the pot fully upside-down, if needed. This is a brilliant update to an already wonderful product. I've been asking for this about once a year for several years (as have so many others) and Nordic Ware finally came through. We now have a multi pot, called the mutli boiler, that was designed for two handed use, centering in the microwave, pasta cooking and draining, but, on top of all that, can also be placed on the edge of the turn table, when needed, allowing for the two handles to parallel the edge of the turntable for easy removal, without the hassle of having to turn the long handle inward and then reach around to grab it or worry about the handle hitting the side of a too small microwave. They still recommend using pot holders to remove this from your microwave, as with the previous version. As always, this is a BPA FREE plastic item designed for MICROWAVE use. It can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack, but may warp or discolor from modern heated dishwashers, so, the best cleaning method is a good old fashioned hand-washing, just like the old multi pot. P.S. I have no idea why they felt the need to change the name but, again, this is the replacement for the multi pot. THE MULTI BOILER is the REPLACEMENT for the MULTI POT which has been discontinued.

Garbage item
Piece of junk. Lid doesn’t fit. Boils over even 1/4 filled. Filled my microwave with water five times. Just junk. Costs more to buy a box for return and drive to the nearest return spot. I just threw it away and I’m going to buy a better one.

Only bad thing about this is the color
I really hate the color red. But that is the only negative thing about this pot. I owned one years ago and got rid of it in a fit of plastic hating. I decided to use only glass. Well, heck. Glass is so dang heavy. You have to worry about dropping and breaking it. It’s better for the environment, but a pain to use. I had to carry my lunch bag with 2 hands and all that clanging was making me deaf. But this little pot is WONDERFUL! It comes with instructions on how to cook rice, pasta, oatmeal, etc. in this pot. I use it for practically everything. Canned soups, ramen, rice, pasta, veggies. I love the lid which doubles as a strainer. One thing I love to microwave is mashed potatoes. Cube the potatoes and cover with water. Cook them for about 10 minutes (you’ll learn soon how long to cook for how big you cube the potatoes). Use the lid to drain the water. Mash right in the pot. I use 1-2 potatoes for myself. I travel for work and live in hotels a lot. With a fridge and microwave, you can do a lot. This little pot helps me cook a ton of things in the microwave. I love it and will never give it up, even if they prove that plastic gives you anal warts and dementia.

Finally was able to use the boiler and it worked perfectly. But you have to be by your microwave diligently to make sure it does not boil over. Start and stopping microwave. Be careful about dropping. My first one did and lid handles broke as well as one of the pot handles. Had to reorder the second one.

How much they have gone up in price.
I really like the pot a lot, they are very durable and just the right size for me, but I think asking $31.47 is asking a little too much. I bought two at two separate times and at the time they were $9.97 each. Last one I bought was in June 2022. I can understand them going up a bit in price, but not this much.

Muy buen utencilio
Efectivamente, no se calienta en el horno de microondas el recipiente, resulta muy práctica la tapa que evita derrames, facilita mucho la prepación de las sopas nodolls. Se puede usar para cocinar, servir y guardar la sopa.
